Well, that is what I am calling these “boneless ribs” I made out of wheat gluten. They were quick and easy to make - just mix, shape and bake the wheat gluten and add chopped red onion, green pepper, cherry tomatoes and barbecue sauce to the last 15 minutes of baking. I think I would just use a less spicy barbecue sauce the next time I make these. Since I quit smoking, I’ve been more sensitive to tangy spices/hot pepper. I still love those things, just don’t need as much of them to get the taste across anymore.
My mother-in-law showed me some art that TGH had made as a kid. This is a vase with a castle-like top of some kind, in a lovely shade of manure. I could tell it had lots of sentimental value to her when she took it out of the basement to show me and asked TGH if he wanted to take it home. It’s still at her house.
