Tuna Fish Sandwiches
Posted on June 8, 2007 - Filed Under Flowers/Gardening, Food, Low Fat, Vegetarian
My sister came to spend the afternoon with me and I made her little tuna fish sandwiches shaped like fish. The cutter for the fish shape was originally supposed to be used for making treats for your cat. Shhh - don’t tell my sister.
In other news, here are the first fruits from our garden - two little radishes. This is a deceptive photo though, because it doesn’t show that one radish is split up the back. Regardless, that should not affect the taste.

That is too funny because when we were little my Mom would make the tuna sandwiches with a cookie cutter(in the shape of heart, aww.)
I think fish shape ones are brilliant!
Our radishes are up and we have had some(yum) but the rest of the vegetables are small and not ready…
Neat blog!
Thanks for saying I have a neat blog, Merri! My mom didn’t have the cool cookie cutters when we were kids but we did get our tuna sandwiches with delicious dill pickles chopped up very fine and mixed right in. I guess tuna was a very economical comfort food back then. (Still is - I still put the dill pickles in my sandwiches most of the time to this day!)
I know your secret! Good sandwiches anyhow, thanks sis!
