B - My tea friend who lives in the city.

Cousin D - A cousin on my mom’s side who lived in the apartment beneath us when we were growing up. He was the closest thing to a brother I’ve ever had. He moved out of state a number of years ago and I miss him, his sweet face, his contagious laugh, and his great sense of humor. Hope I can get out to visit him soon!

GNiece = My great-niece, super smart, funny and petite - I alternately want to show her off and protect her from the rest of the world.

GNephew = My great-nephew, has a lot to live up to with my GNiece for his older sister but he already seems to be pretty intelligent and takes everything in. Also has the most contagious giggle but you have to work hard in order to hear it!

MIL = My mother-in-law. She is the best mother-in-law anyone could ever have. I wish I had had her years ago! She’s smart and funny, a snazzy dresser, and sometimes the two of us will get the sillies and laugh until we cry! Love that and love her!

Nephew #1 = My oldest nephew, intelligent and thoughtful, calm and level-headed, also very tall which comes in quite handy but I remember him when he was shorter than me; probably has to beat the girls off with a stick.

Nephew #2 = No longer the youngest but still the baby in his immediate family, will break many girls’ hearts later just like his big brother, I’m sure - that is, if he can keep the hair out of his face so the girls can SEE him!

Nephew #3 = My youngest nephew (so far) but growing up so fast! He now walks and talks and knocks you out with his big blue eyes.

Niece #1 = My oldest niece, a very sweet, creative girl, now with two kids of her own, almost like a sister to me, was a great dancer even when she was only 3, and she is a lovely young lady now plus a great mom. Just can’t say enough good things about her, but that’s probably cuz she’s the oldest so I’ve known her the longest. ;)
Niece #2 = My second-oldest niece, very artistically talented and has a good (somewhat weird) sense of humor (but I like that), she is sensitive, loves her family (even when she doesn’t get along or agree with them) and is easy to love in return. Also goes by Kiinunobaka which I believe means something along the lines of Kiinu’s silliness. Loves Japanese anime.

Niece #3 = My third-oldest niece, very intelligent and talented in all the areas that her older sister is not (she has a relationship with her sister similar to mine and Sister #1 so she’ll appreciate that), she takes on a lot and does well at it all, but needs to give herself a little break once in a while (don’t want her to get burned out so early in life). Also loves Japanese anime.

Niece #4 = My fourth-oldest niece, no longer the youngest, but still one of the sweetest and extremely thoughtful - do not feed her candy as this makes her bounce off the walls and put things on her head. I have many pictures as proof of this.

Niece #5= My youngest (so far) niece, very active and energetic - she’s got so many elders to contend with - but in quiet moments, just want to scoop her up and eat her cuz she’s so innocent, plus she has the cutest little nose!

S - My tea friend who lives in the suburbs and has a young son.

Sister #1 = My older sister, who I love but don’t always get along with, she’s smart and tenacious to a fault and a little obsessive but I want good things for her and for her to be happy (yes, I really do so stop arguing already, sheesh).

Sister #3=My younger sister, who I get along with great with but don’t really love - just kidding - she has a good sense of humor and will appreciate that. I guess that makes me Sister #2 (that sounds bad, so I’ll just go by “the second sister,” thank you very much.)

SIL#1 = My older sister-in-law, TGH’s sister. She is younger than me but older than her sister, SIL#2, so that is how I refer to her. She recently got married to a wonderful guy (who better take real good care of her cuz she’s a sweetheart). She may end up giving me new nieces and nephews in the future. She’s smart, open-minded, and adventurous.

SIL#2 = My youngest sister-in-law, also TGH’s sister. She is married with two kids - Niece #5 and Nephew#3. She used to work as an accountant but is now a stay-at-home-mom (SAHM). She’s smart and creative and crafty.

TGH = Techno-Geek Husband, the smartest guy I know (and cute to boot), my much loved and somewhat tortured man - the poor guy’s married to me, after all.
