Teeni’s Tips VI

Posted on June 19, 2007 - Filed Under Teeni's Tips, Video

Here’s a tip to keep things neat in the kitchen. You can use this for truffles or any other balls of food that you need to coat. Basically just put the coating/powder/crumbs in a little handled container, drop the ball in and roll it around like we used to do in the old days with Jiffy Pop popcorn over the stove. Here’s a quick little video of how to do it - easier than explaining it.

Great clip! Yes, I see what you mean about it being easier than explaining. Haha, I totallly got the Jiffy Pop reference! I hope to see more videos from you in the future. :) And great idea!! I will have to remember to try that.

So simple that sometimes we just don’t think of these things. These days we spend a lot more brain energy trying to solve more complex issues. That’s why I started doing the tips. I hope they help save money, time, and aggravation for anyone who reads them.

    [nods] Agreed.

Have you ever thought about putting a little book of tips together? Could be neat. : )

Blaqberry, I’d love to do that. Wouldn’t have the faintest clue on how to go about it, but it would be neat - kind of like Heloise’s Hints only it’d be Teeni’s Tips. hehe. Or I could become a huge cultural icon, “Auntie Teeni’s Tips for Teens”. Okay, now I can’t even tell if I’m being serious anymore. :) But I would love to do that so I’ll have to keep compiling the tips, then.

I love pictures or videos for cooking info; SO much easier than trying to explain…

So true, Merri. It seemed really simple, but when I tried to put it in writing it just took more words than such a simple task should, so it only made sense to do the video. :)
