Neat Treat

My pizza rolls were inspired by this post from my friend at Bittersweet (see sidebar), although mine are not vegan. I thought the rolls were an awesome idea because you can slice and cook these babies up with a minimal amount of time and effort but you can also freeze them afterwards. Then, they are ready to take out for a quick snack or impromptu meal. They defrost quickly on their own since they are a handy size and you can pull out as many or as few as you need at a time. They taste good hot or cold as well so they can be packed for picnic lunches and they are way less messy than traditional pizza when eating them. I had made and frozen some of this wheat gluten pepperoni recipe ( see my June 3 post, “Not Just Mimic Mutts“) and I finally got to try some on these pizza rolls. I’m glad I did as I’ll be doing it again and again. Very economical and tasty.

These look nice! I see you have my blog on your blogroll (thanks for reading!!), so I’ve added you to mine!
Oh yes, I found myself clicking over to your site through one of our mutual friends - Harmonia, I believe, quite often so I figured I should just add you to my blogroll! Thoroughly enjoyed your ABC’s by the way!
I’m sure my daughter would love these. I’ll have to try them when we are on vacation next week.
Thanks for posting it.
Oooh. Let me know what your daughter thinks of them. It would be interesting to know how they pass the “kid test.”
Awww, the link doesn’t work, I’m guessing that’s there the recipe is supposed to be?
Oops, link fixed. Sorry ’bout that!
