Our Garden

Posted on July 2, 2007 - Filed Under DIY or D-I-Y, Flowers/Gardening, Home Improvement

Raised BedsTGH built some raised beds for me to plant some vegetables. It was a lot of hard work - he is too good to me. I thought it came out looking pretty good. I decided to have him make triangular beds because I can reach those from all sides (my fellow short friends will appreciate that). The path in between the beds had all the sod removed and has at least 3 inches thick of crushed stone and yes, those are foot-shaped stepping stones, aren’t they a hoot? So we got some radishes already and still have tomatos, peppers, broccoli and um, I forget what else growing in there. TGH is the best!

    Ooh…. pretty garden ^.^

Yeah, Kiinu, I wish you could have seen it in person for the Q2 birthdays, but that was recital day.

Thank you for the compliments on the garden. TGH really did work hard. I wish I could have been more help to him. Then again, he may never have gotten them done then. LOL.
