Curtain Problem Solved

When TGH enclosed the screened porch on our older home, he replaced all the screens with real windows. He did a beautiful job with everything out there from the external siding, to the floor, walls, and ceiling. But, we didn’t realize it would be nice to add curtains to keep the sun from beating down on us on the hotter days out there. Hmm. There were three walls of windows so how would we hang the curtains? We finally decided that copper piping would look pretty neat out there with all the wood TGH used, and that way we could have one rod for each wall. For finials we thought we’d just use elbows and make it look like the pipe was coming out of the walls, but then, I saw these - the cutest little spigots - so we HAD to use them. Also, piping is cool because going around doorways is no problem. LOL. (Click to make bigger)

    Thank you! I’m glad you like them. We are just too cool. We had a plumber friend over and he was jealous that he didn’t think of doing that kind of thing first. Oh, some days I just love us. (I hope that is not being too vain) LOL :)

    Blaqberry! So glad you are still stopping by! I can just tell that you get my silly humor (thank goodness cuz it beats laughing alone!) Anyhoo - I keep sneaking over to your place so I can check up on when you update. I think I am now subscribed to you but that’s all new to me so it’s like I don’t trust that it is going to work. ::shrugs:: heehee.
