Teeni’s Tips XIII

This tip is actually from TGH. He is just too clever sometimes.

If you have nonstick pans, like we do, you might experience this. Sometimes something ends up getting a little overcooked or stuck on the bottom of the pan and it seems like it just never will come off (this happens more than I’d like to admit at my house) - but don’t give up hope. Remove the food and get as much of the stuck-on gunk off the pan on your own, then add 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch of water to the pan and put it back on the heat, about medium low. Usually, when you start seeing steam rise from the water, you can now easily scrape the rest of the gunk off with a spatula. This has almost always worked for us (I actually can’t think of a time it didn’t).

that is one of the simplest tips. i saw my boyfriend do this about a year ago and I was a little perplexed by what he was doing, but it works!!

It really is. Sometimes I think we all get so caught up in this high-tech world that we need to be reminded of the simple things. LOL.
