Chachi was Funny in a Sad Way

By no means a great cinematic work of art, this reality tv show was actually quite amusing to watch. I loved Erin Moran when she was Joanie. I loved Scott Baio as Chachi. I remember rumors way back then about their off-screen romance ending badly. It was interesting to see the two interact on Sunday night’s show. Apparently it wasn’t the first time they’d seen eachother since Happy Days, since they mentioned seeing eachother last year at a Happy Days Reunion show.
But it was uncomfortable to watch. It seemed there is probably more than we’ll ever know that happened between them to make it such a stiff reacquaintance. I thought it was funny how Scott Baio ran off telling his friends about how she said he had a small, ahem, member. But that is not what I heard her say; she actually said she remembered HIM telling HER that back when they were 14/15 years old and that he asked her to marry him (which scared her off and made her break up with him) and that he tried to reassure her that, ahem, “it” would grow. So she actually said that HE said it.
Later they show Scott show up to an autograph signing where Erin is working and she gets peeved at Scott’s friend. Well, I guess I can’t blame her as Scott’s friend was solely around to “rescue” Scott from having to be at the signing for more than 1/2 hour, which the two boys planned ahead of time. Must have seemed totally juvenile to her and maybe reminiscent of the way he behaved back when they dated? Who knows? I’ll probably keep watching the show for a while anyway for entertainment value. But the childish way he ran off to his friends afterwards and twisted her words might really give a lot of insight into the reason why Scott Baio is “45 and Single.”

I loved the show but I always thought there was more going on on both sides that wasn’t being heard.
however to be fair there can be many reasons why someone is still single for a long period of time.
I’ll be 37 this October and I’m single but then again I won’t settle for some of the fools that I’ve met. I’ve always been very selective.
Wow! who would have thought that I would be defiending Scott Baio? Not I!
Opal, you are so right. There are many good reasons for remaining single well into your thirties and beyond. I personally strongly believe people should wait until they are at least in their thirties before marrying. I was only thinking of Scott Baio here and his type since he is well known for being with so many young starlets, which is really the reason why I was jabbing at him in that way.
I think I did hear something about his Starlet phase perhaps Erin scarred him for life. He’s looking for someone just like her hence the starlet hopping.
I used to love that show (Happy Days.)
I also loved Laverne & Shirley.
I wouldn’t be surprised if she did scar him for life. I loved Laverne & Shirley also. And Mork & Mindy. Hmm - they all spun off from Happy Days. Did I miss any?
Scott Baio!
