A Pizza with Nuthin’?

Posted on August 6, 2007 - Filed Under Site Info, Tangents

I am the first to admit that my blog is like the Seinfeld of blogs. It’s a blog about nothing. Nothing in particular and a whole bunch of little tangents. But I’m doing this for my own entertainment as well as yours so you can’t blame me for that.

Some people will find useful bits of trivia here and others will not. I can’t please everyone just as nobody else can please everyone so I won’t beat myself up about it. I just hope that my “tea room” is a nice break for someone’s day every once in a while. I use other people’s blogs as little mini-vacations for myself too. Visiting someone’s personal blog space, filled with things they love, admire or find interest in, is like stepping out of my own shoes for a little bit and trying to see things through their eyes. I have sites I go to for “art breaks,” sites just for fun, and sites to inspire, some for tips, recipes, wisdom, and some are a little of all of the above (see the links in my blogroll). I hope that my blog is like that for some people. That would make me happy.

And if not, then la-de-freakin’-da! ;)

lol @ Teeni for the Seinfeld comment…I like that…

or…you could go with this one:

I was thinking that a few days ago about my own blog it might be nothing to some people but it means something to me. I try to present it in a way to make it interesting to people. You do that well.

One of my favorite episodes was when Kramer was in the showers taking notes on how long it took men to take a shower. I remember the statement he made, “Oh, I’m looking at you too buddy but this guy is really showing me something! Of course he showed up later with a black eye. I guess the guy took it the wrong way, eh? ;-)
LOL. I could watch some of those episodes over and over again. That Larry David Show, “Curb Your Enthusiasm” is also great.

I enjoyed rolling my cursor over my own link on your blog roll to find that it popped up funny, honest, blunt. Thanks!

I enjoy coming in and checking your blog because it is more like checking in on a friend. I get a little brief update that all is ok in the Teeni world.

I lift my Earl Grey to you my friend.

Aww - thanks you guys. You’re all the best blog friends ever! One of these days I’m gonna throw a virtual blog party and invite you all! I have to think of how I can do that first though. ;)
Mark - that is truly how I see you and I appreciate people like that because you always know where things stand and don’t have to wonder. People who are not forthright can make me nervous or self conscious or uncomfortable. I’m the type that would rather just come out and ask someone something than secretly always be wondering. BTW - Did you check out Laura at I am the Diva’s site? She is also funny, honest, and blunt - you might get a kick out of her site or any of the other sites. Ooh - I need to update some of those descriptions while I’m thinking of it.

“…la-de-freakin’-da!” LOL If I had a piping hot cup of Earl Grey, I’d raise it up in your honor as well! My sweet almond milk will have to suffice! ;)
You give us a peek into your world, and I thoroughly enjoy what I see and experience here.

    “Hail Teeni!”
