Teeni’s Tips XVIII

Ahh, my little curmudgeons (nieces and nephews),
Here is yet another wonderful tip from your Auntie Teeni:
Use a wishlist. If you don’t have one, create one. They are easy to update online and easy on the gift giver - whenever an occasion arises where we (or anyone else) would like to get you something, we can just consult your list and not have to scramble what’s left of our little brains to figure out what to get you. You know that we old farts don’t understand you kids. Also, it saves money and effort because we won’t be getting you something you didn’t want, and nobody has to return it or exchange it!
Uncle TGH and I like Wishlist.com because unlike Amazon’s, you can “shop” in any store - not just ones that Amazon is affiliated with. There are others to choose from if you don’t like wishlist.com. Just let your family and friends know once you have created an account so they can see what you’d like and what sizes, colors, shapes you’d like it in! Don’t forget to update your wishlist and delete items once you’ve received them or you may get them again for the next occasion! ![]()
Keep in mind that if you don’t create a wishlist, you always run that risk of having Uncle TGH and I getting you a lovely one of these:

*Disclaimer - I really do like art but we all know how silly young teens and kids would react to something like that. Heck, even I’d laugh if I got that for a present. But there are some nice things at their site here. (You just have to look for them - beauty is in the eye of the beholder).

Haha, so funny! Yes, a wishlist is a great idea!!
Oh eek..I think that we have some OBJETS DE ART(LOL)
like that in our basement!
I like gift certificates…makes both the giver AND the receiver happy…
Gift certificates ARE always a good idea too Merri. Thanks for reminding me. Sometimes I do like to give something more tangible though. And you know how much I love to wrap gifts. LOL.

Ha, ha. Beauty really is in the eye of the beholder. I had a an aunt (God rest her soul) that would have loved that
I just saw your wrapping post teeni! LOL!
Yes sometimes it is nice to have a little “something” to unwrap…
yes, and that thing in your photo, how the heck would you wrap that? I didn’t know there was such a thing as wishlist.com, that’s a good idea.
I would hate to see what my wishlist would be like!
o/t…swing by and have some Mac & “Cheese” when you have time…teehee
uh, is that a candle holder? Or an egg cup tray??
I think it’s an egg cup tray/candle holder! How’s that? LOL
I think that is what bugged me the most about this piece - it looks like it is SUPPOSED to be useful somehow. Arrrrgh. It goes against ALL my natural senses of practicality!!!!!!
It is actually teeni’s favorite hat. That is why we don’t go out much.
Hrrmph! Pay no attention to the little TGH man behind the curtain there!
*giggles* Teeni’s favorite hat…*ROFLMBO!* Sorry. Im better now….I didnt know about wishlist.com either. I shall be checking that out!!
This is why I don’t mind picking on my hubby a little on here. He gets his digs in every so often as well! LOL. Love ya, TGH!
