Today I Did Something

…that I haven’t done in a very long time. I don’t know why it has been so long. I guess it is just the law of probability or karma or something. When I get talking to myself this way I really start to wonder if this is what it is like to get old. Every little thing that happens to me makes me think things like, “Gee - that hasn’t happened in a long time.” I start thinking of things that have changed in the past twenty years or more and wonder if any of those things would have had a bearing on whether this event would have happened. I start wondering if it is a direct result of the way I live. Do I get out enough? Do I do things differently from other people that might make me either more or less prone to have this happen? What on earth got me into such a tizzy, you are probably asking yourself.
I stepped in some gum on a hot pavement. LOL

gross! i hate that. today i sat down at a desk in class and i kept hearing gross sticky noises under my feet. i promptly changed desks because I noticed that some dried blue sticky substance (maybe soda?) had spilled on the floor and now was making my flip flops stick to it.
Oh MAN - that stinks because you know it’s going to stick to your flip flop and aggravate you with every step you take all day. Yikes.
LOL, you had me guessing all the way through your post!!
I hate hot gum!!
YOU. Crack. Me. Up.
too funny!
OK, I’ll be the man here and step up and answer the questions that you asked that everyone is obviously afraid to answer…..
No, you don’t get out enough. You need to get out more. There is a lot more gum out there waiting to get stepped on. If you have not stepped in gum for some time then you are not doing your fair share in this society of cleaning up gum off of the sidewalks and parking lots of this fine country! Get out more! Don’t be afraid to get your feet dirty!!!!!

LOL
ROFL! Oh dear! Teeni, you are so funny! LOL
eek, well at least you didn’t get it on your hands…ugh..lol.
So true, Merri - things can always be worse. And I’m glad I didn’t get it on my hands. Yuck-a-roni!
