My Orange is Cameo

Posted on September 25, 2007 - Filed Under Just for Fun

I didn’t even know that was a color choice. But that is what I found out after visiting Heather’s site and rising to her challenge. I do like to think I bring people together though. That is kinda neat. ;) Find out what color your orange is by clicking the link below and then let Heather know! She is the artist here, not me, so I figure she will know what to do with all these shades of orange! ;)

You Are Cameo

You are understanding and very empathetic.
You don’t tend to have acquaintances. Everyone is your friend.
And all of your friends tend to be friends. You have a knack for bringing very different people together.

She is right on the money with that! Angella was asking me about you on the weekend and I told her you were SO much fun:-)

Ps I kinda like the Cameo part… get it? Kami - o
    ;-)
LOL. You are so cute Kami - I wonder if you will come up with the color Kami-O! Aww, thanks for saying nice things about me on the weekend. You know, I missed you over the weekend and your comments around the blogs - I had to visit your site and Angella’s and then I remembered you were getting together - that is so cool! I guess I should just pop over to your site again and comment there instead of babbling all over my own comments section! ;)

I had no internet at the hotel and when I did I was “working”. I did pop into Angella’s site while “working” just to see the shiny forehead photo us ;-)
She did give me heck though - I deserved it ;-)
I missed blogging over the weekend… it’s really about half my life!

    Oops, did I say that?!

LOL. I know what you mean - it is been an addiction of mine since I started in May! ;) But it’s okay - we all need to have some “real life” going on or we’d have nothing to blog about! LOL. I just wanted you to know that your comments are missed when you are not around but I’m glad you weren’t around because it meant you were doing stuff IRL and we get the benefit of your posts afterward!

Calamity! I just visited your site and you’ll see why I haven’t been by in a while. D’oh! head:desk ;)

    neat how are you today?

Hi Kaylee! Well, I could’ve been better. I was supposed to go babysit but lost my keys! That never happens and it made me feel very foolish and like a big doofus. But then I had a sweet email from one of my buddies and it made me feel about a gazillion times better. I hope you are doing okay. Are you doing the birthday thing with Nick today?

    Wow, yours fits you totally!!

I just posted my result on Heather’s blog … I’ll post it here too in case you are interested:

“You are claypot orange. You are down to earth, and well connected to all your senses. For you, life is about the simple pleasures - like going to a great concert or enjoying a bottle of wine.
Your warmth and zest for life tends to make everyone feel connected with you.”

Wow - I think yours is right on also. I feel connected to you even though we haven’t met and I know we have different talents, interests, and lifestyles. I’ve always felt that connection from our first little blog visits! And I appreciate and respect our differences. They make our friendship more fun, more real, and more mature than other friendships! BTW - I love claypot orange as a color - it is warm, earthy, and comforting - all qualities that I attribute to you. ;) Oh, and thanks for posting at Heather’s too. It’s the least we can do since she started this little challenge.

    I Couldn’t resist this …. I’m mahogany! and it’s so right! thanks

Ooo - that one sounds interesting. I just popped over to your place to see the details. Wow - this orange thing seems pretty accurate! I like the image it gave you that you put on your site as well, Penny. Very peaceful - kind of zen-like. ;)

I really don’t know where and how you find the time for all this teeni - you must be glued to your pc. i never know what to expect when i call in. ;-) x

I like to keep things interesting, Penny…and I like to keep you calling in! And yes, sadly, I’m glued to my pc more than I should be and need to get more exercise so I’m working on that and that is why I have been letting a day or two slide by without posts at times. I’ve been posting almost daily since I started in May and it’s weird that I haven’t run out of things to say yet. LOL.

    I am a Pumpkin

Realistic and practical, you see the world for how it is.
You know what it takes to succeed in life…
And you’re happy to help others reach their goals.

Wow. The first pumpkin color I’ve seen. Very nice description. Do you feel it is close to home, I wonder?

  23. Opal Tribble (94 comments.) on September 26th, 2007 1:53 pm

Alright I’m late to post it here…

    You are Mahogany
Stable and decisive, you lack the hyper energy of most orange colors.
You’re still energetic, but you tend to project a peaceful, relaxed vibe.
You love to feel cozy. You often rather wrap up in a blanket than go out for the night.

I definitely don’t have hyper energy but I am very energetic.

Whoa! I’m glad you aren’t hyper!! You are energetic in a good way, not in a drive-other-people-crazy way. LOL. I do thing you project a peaceful, relaxed vibe. These really are neat. :)

  24. markalan (14 comments.) on September 26th, 2007 3:48 pm

I’d have to say yes, it is a pretty accurate description of me.

Wow. These are good. Everyone seems to think they are on target.

  25. harmonia (175 comments.) on September 26th, 2007 8:25 pm

You and Opal crack me up…I have both your site and her site open at the same time and I saw yours and hers at the exact same time! lol Looks like I will be posting mine shortly! :)
That’s cuz Opal and I are really the same person! LOL. Notice how we’re never in the same place at exactly the same time? LOL. Goodness I’m getting silly again.
