I Hit the 20K!!!!

Not the money, you sillies! The number of views on my site. Actually it slipped by when I wasn’t looking. You must have all been sleeping. As for me? I was probably too busy starting a party on someone else’s comment area with all my chatter. I just can’t help myself at times. 
It seems like only yesterday I had a contest for my 10Kth visitor! I can’t believe that number has doubled already. Eerily enough, it was the same winner of that first contest who pointed out to me that I was nearing the 20K mark. Good eyes, Laura (Laura will be celebrating her five year blogiversary in a couple of days so make sure you stop by to wish her well)!
So I will make this short and sweet and just say thank you all for continuing to come to The Vaguetarian Tea Room and thank you to those of you who are new. I hope you will continue to visit as well so I can someday see a 25thK visitor (and maybe NOT sleep through that) and have another contest!

Yeah, I think I blinked and woke up just after 20K - where has the time gone? -Eeep.
Wow! And it was only a few months ago that you hit 10,000 so that is super impressive!! Way to go!
Kami and Hannah - It was so funny - Laura mentioned to me that I must be getting close to the 20K mark and I thought “Wow, I never thought of that - I better check my stats.” Then when I did check, I saw that I was just about 150 shy of the 20K mark. I thought Laura had ESP!!! Then I remembered that I have the dang stat counter on my blog where everyone could see it so that is how she knew. LOL. By the time I was done posting my planned posts I guess I had a few more visits to the site so I actually missed it hit the 20K. So maybe I’ll catch the 25K….
This is just my first visit here but congratulations and best wishes on the continued success of your blog!

Just calling it like I see it, Ms. Red. I see no reason to say anything if I don’t mean it. And I am also kind of a tard at times. So sometimes I’m just a sweettard. LOL But hopefully the other times carry me through those tard times.

Congratulations for hitting 20k I don’t think I ever paid too much attention to that but I had a feeling you would, lol.
Of course you will reach 25k more people are finding about you and it will come a lot faster. Trust me, you’ll see! 
LOL - I know I shouldn’t be a slave to the numbers, Opal! I guess I just have my moments of insecurity - silly me - I should just be counting my blessings and my great blog friends because that is where I am really rich beyond measure! But, unfortunately, I’m human and imperfect so I still am drawn to those crazy numbers. Okay - I really just honestly like having contests and prizes. I want to be a barking mad Bob Barker!!!!!!!!!!!!! Woo-hoo!
You’re funny! I wrote about numbers in one of my blog post today thankfully I did not do a “full on rant” like Ive been known to do.
..and yes visitors trumps numbers any day of the week.
Just went to check it out! How annoying these companies are but soon they will find that they don’t rule the world when everyone gets tired of trying to bend to fit their molds!

That wasn’t related to your post this was something I’ve been sitting on for a while, lol. However reading Antibarbie’s post made me put my fingers to the keyboard I did not put them on blast like I wanted to I’m saving that for another special occasion.
