A Mystical Trip - Part II

Posted on October 28, 2007 - Filed Under Video

I was having trouble with a video the other night but it is now working. This is the video from our trip to Mystic, Connecticut at the Aquarium. These are the penguins and they were a lot of fun to watch. I hope my little great-niece and my little friend Ms. Aiyana both get a chance to see these guys. Enjoy!

Those penguins are so sweet…I love the way one pauses for its closeup!

Thanks, Merri! I was so surprised when he did that! It was like he just came over purposely to say hi to me! Boy was I ever glad I had the camera running then! :)

Where’s the popcorn? Doesn’t this place serve popcorn?? Fun video. :)
LOL. You got me there! I SHOULD be serving popcorn with all these videos lately! Until then you can always visit my party tab and go to the pajama party where everyone seemed to bring….yup, you guessed it - popcorn!!!!

Aren’t they the cutest things? I finally had a chance to stop by when Ms. Aiyana awakens I’ll be sure to show her what Ms. Teeni has of course now that means she will want to go and see some interestingly enough I did tell her last evening I would be taken her to the aquarium.

Oh you made another appearance in my dream a few nights ago. We were sitting at a cafe eating and you were waiting for TGH. He finally made an appearance his hands were filled with bags all containing tech gadgets, lol.

You know that must mean we are definitely going to catch up in real life one day Ms. Opal. Otherwise why would I be “haunting” your dreams so? LOL. You and TGH would probably get into some video game together and leave me in the dust. But that’s okay because Aiyana and I would find something fun to do with the pets. :)

Ah - HAHAHA - Calamity, my friend! No worries. This same exact thing happens to me. I always blame it on the notebook computer’s keyboard! But I understood everything you typed because I too, speak the language of “early wakeup blogging.” :) And I know you will find great things to take pics of on your trip in the Spring so just don’t forget to share them with us, ok?

    Hi Teeni,

It sounds as if you had a wonderful and fun-filled week. It’s good to have nieces huh?

The apple pie looks delicious and easy to make… I want to try it now that the weather is getting so cold.

Hi Kate! Yes it is wonderful to have nieces. I love all of mine to pieces. I hope you do get to make the pie. It is so yummy, I made another one after I posted about this one and just finished it off last night!

wow, thank you for sharing this video!! I love penguins - I just hope that they’re well-taken care of at the aquarium :0)

Hi VeggieGirl! These penguins seemed well taken care of and quite happy. I was glad to see so many of them frolicking around. But I know what you mean about that - I always question the keepers/handlers and ask if anything looks amiss to me. But this aquarium’s staff did seem very concerned about the health, happiness and quality of life of their animals.

what interesting creatures! they are kind of tubby looking and yet they flap their little flippers and glide & bobble through the water! I like the polka-dots on their tummies and when they make bubbles.
was that your voice i heard?

It was me saying “thank you” and later saying “boy when they get active they REALLY do get active,” or something like that. ;) But don’t worry. I will never sing for you guys. I have a voice like a frog. And I like you all too much to torture you that way. :)

Ohhh, aren’t those fun?! I too liked how the one came up and hung around. It’s eye looking right at you! I enjoyed watching all your mini movies :D The jelly fish display looked exactly the same as the aquarium we visited up in Oregon earlier this year. I remember the display had beautiful lighting, the jellies all illuminated. Thank you for sharing! Glad you two had a great time on the trip!

Yeah - that one was just a big social butterfly! He was such a ham almost like he knew he was on camera! ;) Oh yeah, the jellyfish were pretty with the illumination. It is neat the way they displayed them. I’m so glad you enjoyed the mini-movies. :) I hope to do some more of them soon.
