The Good Things Meme

I was tagged for this meme by Calamity, who created it because she wanted to change the mood at her blog. There’s no way that I could refuse because it is just such a wonderful and positive meme. All you have to do is list 10 things about the day that are good, then tag as many or as few people as you want. So ten good things for me today are:

  1. I woke up.
  2. I didn’t have to shovel.
  3. I’m in no pain, I’m warm, dry, and well-fed.
  4. I got an award from a bloggy friend.
  5. I was able to squeeze in a a haircut with my favorite hairdresser.
  6. It wasn’t too cold out and the sun was out for a while.
  7. I got to chat with a buddy and email with another.
  8. I thought I was out of green decaf tea but found a whole unopened box in the cupboard!
  9. My husband and cats are healthy.
  10. Stealing from Calamity on this one - I am loved (that is an awesome one).

I tagged these particular people because I know that when I read what each of them come up with that I will have more things to think about appreciating. They each get me thinking in different ways. So I hope they can rise to the challenge of this meme. But there is no time limit or pressure on anyone to fulfill this meme - after all, stress free memes are the best kind, right? ;)

    Hopefully this list isn’t in order of importance. If it is, I might remind you that if I was in poor health, you might need to shovel. :)
    I meant I didn’t have to shovel because it didn’t snow yesterday, silly. Not because you already did it! That was a few days ago. heehee. But I was thankful for that then too. :)
