Why Don’t My Pictures Look Like These?
Posted on January 5, 2008 - Filed Under Thank You
Beth Ellen Nagle takes some wonderful shots. Remember I mentioned the other day that she had sent me some lovely photos she had taken? Look at these - they are glorious.

And if you like these, she has many more fantastic shots over at her site at the Eclectic Studio Cafe. Right now she’s creating her own landscapes using a program called Terragen. They are fantastic and worth taking a minute to look at - it’s really breathtaking! So just where was I when all the talent was passed out to my bloggy friends?
Oh well, at least I get to reap the many benefits by having such talented friends, like getting these wonderful gifts. So I think I actually get the better end of the deal after all.
Thanks to all my talented buddies for sharing their gifts with me not just materially but even just in their writing on their blogs. Hugs all around. ![]()

I remember seeing that bigger picture at her site .. I thought it was incredibly awesome. I was in awe when I saw it, when I took it in ..
Me too, Red! Me too! Oh, please do tell her that - she needs to hear it from more than just me (she’ll think I’m just saying it cuz I’m her friend) but work like that really does need to be shared with everyone, don’t you think?
Just beautiful!
Well said, Hannah!
Those are beautiful - and I say you did well!
Thank you, Kate!
wow! Those are really awesome!! I love her work too, its always so fun when I get to go over to her blog!!
She has a great sense of humor too!
Those pictures are incredible, and you’re right, the gift of writing in blogging world is also quite a treat!
Yes it is - I love reading the great posts my buddies write. They make me laugh and cry and think. I’m so glad to have met them all.
Great pictures!!! that was a nice gift
Yes, she’s a great gifter!
Those are amazing! Lucky you for knowing her
I am very fortunate for knowing ALL of you!
Ya’ll are making me blush.
Get used to it, girlie!
Those are great gifts.
Don’t sell yourself short I really liked those teapot thingamabobs that you made.
Thanks, Opal! I need to get to making some more of those! Thanks for reminding me!
oh the image of the tree in black and white is so nice!
I knew you’d appreciate it, Heather! I kind of figured the tree would be the one you picked out because you have drawn and photographed them too.
Those are great looking!! Wow… Mine don’t look that nice either. Puts my time lapse video to shame
At least we have something to work towards… gorgeous shots!
Time lapse video??? **sits up straight and is all interested**
I gave up on being able to take decent pictures ages ago. I stink at it. My pictures will never look like those no matter how many classes I were to take or how expensive of a camera I bought. Oh well, can’t be good at everything
Yeah, I’m with you AntiBarbie. I can’t be good at everything. But sheesh - can’t there be SOMEthing?!! LOL. Oh well, as I said, I’m fortunate to have such talented buddies because even though I can’t take great photos like these or make great art, I sure have no problem appreciating them and looking at them! So I get the better end of the deal - no work involved.
Stunning!!
If I could find my way around my camera I’ll take some good pics one day I’m sure. Don’t hold your breath though!
Aren’t they?! Well, I’d love to see any pictures you take! But okay, I won’t hold my breath in case you don’t get around to posting any in the near future! LOL. Yours can’t be any worse than mine and people still come look over here!
