    Interesting…

I actually haven’t figured out if this affects the email version or not, because it seems to just discuss the Facebook version, but I’m assuming it encompasses them all.

I’m liking the puzzle bee feature, and I hate adding Facebook apps, it slows my machine down.

I’m not really into the Facebook apps either. Actually, I hate them - there are way too many of those crazy little things! LOL. But I had been playing the email version of Scrabulous and I loved it because you took turns through email and could do it at your own pace. It made it a very stress-free and fun game. I hope they are able to keep that in existence somehow.

oh man, scrabulous is the only thing keeping me on facebook…

LOL. Had you tried the email version? I had a bunch of games going on at one time and it was really neat.

WOW I will stick to the email version though ;)
Sadly, that one is most likely also going to be affected by the outcome.

The main problem with Scrabulous on Facebook seems to be the sheer number of users, and not having big enough servers to run it on.
At least the email version will be fine!

Yeah, according to that article some users have up to 170 games going on at one time. I told Merri to slow down a little but well…. LOL
Seriously, the real issue is legal trouble with Hasbro, the owners of Scrabble. There are other rip-off versions of scrabble out there as well but Hasbro seems to have taken note of these particular Facebook and email versions most likely because of how popular they have become. The creators of Scrabulous didn’t take into account the legal ramifications when they created it, trademarks, etc. But they probably didn’t know how popular it would become either.

I hope that one version survives at least! I am SO addicted ..lol.
Facebook’s only interest for me is the Scrabulous.
(Although a distant relative did find me there the other day and THAT was pretty cool! ;)
Oh, that is neat that a relative was able to find you through Facebook. I guess I just feel that anyone I want finding me has access to me in other areas so I don’t really need it for that purpose. I think I’d like it more if I didn’t feel so bombarded by the applications. Maybe I started off with too many too quickly. I don’t know. But I am glad we are still able to play and hope we can continue to do so.

I am ALL about the Facebook scrabulous but I’ve never tried this email version…I think in the end it will just get taken over and say on Facebook (*fingers crossed ;-) )

I think you are right Romi! As long as we don’t have to give up playing, right? ;)

I love it on Facebook!! I had problems with the e-mail version being blocked. I really hope they don’t shut it down. It is so much fun playng it!!

I hope we get to keep both versions. It’s so addicting. :D

In the facebook version, there is a new message saying that new features will be coming soon and to watch for them, so THAT is a positive thing, I would think!!!
    (fingers crossed) :D
Oh, that IS a good sign! Thanks for sharing that, Merri! :) Yay for good news!
