Send Valentines To Red And Shtuff
Posted By teeni on February 14, 2008
Normally I would be putting up my post for Hannah’s Live Poet’s Society assignment today, but we have put that off until the 20th of the month as she is swamped with her scrapbooking duties. See? I’m so glad we planned on having a flexible deadline when we started this up! It sure comes in handy and it means there is still time for you to join in the fun if you’d like.
In other news, I’d been wondering where my friend Red was as she didn’t comment on my post about the gifts she sent me. It just seemed a little weird and unlike her. Well, I just found out that the poor dear has been without power since Monday due to an ice storm in her area so I’m sure this is going to be a very interesting Valentine’s Day for her. Please go over to her site and leave her some good wishes that I’m sure she will appreciate! I’m going right now!

Thanks again for letting me have an extension! LOL
I’m sorry to hear about Red’s trouble, I could not handle being without power for so long!!
No problem, Hannah - I may need an extension some day too! Also, yes, I panic if the power is out for more than a few hours. But those times do make the me more grateful for when we DO have power!
Thanks for the heads up on Red. I was wondering where she was.
No problem, Mark. I’m so glad she was able to get a message to me. See? Now you know how we felt when you disappeared for a while!
That long without power? That’s not fun at all! Have a nice day!
You are right - doesn’t sound like fun. But hmmm - it COULD be romantic!!
I must go visit then, horrible to be without power!
Hey I love your Meez’s new dress and balloons, but WHY why why, is she standing against a VERY scary background??
LOL?
Oh, sorry Merri - she’s against that background to display the type of weather that Red might have been experiencing. But thanks about the dress and balloons!
id die without power for that long
Well, it sure would be inconvenient, but hey - people used to get along fine without electricity many years ago.
Will do! I’m off there now.
You are such a thoughtful gal. You know that? (((HUGS)))
Aww, thanks Diane! I do try. I think I’m getting better at that “do unto others as you’d have them do unto you” mentality in my old age.
Yikes, I hope her power is restored quickly!
I saw your comment on my blog - I ALWAYS wear only white & black, but I throw in splashes of color from time-to-time (i.e. I’ll wear a red bracelet, or colored shoes, etcetera; and if it’s a holiday, then I’ll make sure that the accent color for my outfit fits the theme). yeah I know, I’m out there, haha :0)
Happy Valentine’s Day, Teeni!!
LOL. That is too funny. But not in a bad way. Just in an interesting way. I often wonder if that would make life easier for me - not having so many colors to choose from in my wardrobe? I just never have really thought to do that. This is why I love blogging. I learn so much about other people. Thanks for answering my nosey question, VeggieGirl and for the good wishes for Red!
I hate to be without the power…it’s like I can’t cook or anything. Oh ya, I can’t cook with out the microwave if the power is out. And since that is the only way I know how…alas!
Poor Red.
LOL. Yes, I hope she is having a nice day today despite the lack of power.
oh ya…I almost forgot!
I have a special something for ya over at my place! Come and see it!
Oooooooh. I’m headed right over!
Hi Teeni! I’m sending you some extra special hugs today, just because you’re a great buddy, more than I could hope for! Thinking of you …
Aw, thanks so much Heather - you know that is the perfect gift! Hugs always fit and people actually like it when you return or exchange them! And you are a great buddy too - I’m so glad I “met” you!!
Aw, thanks Teeni
I’m back in business!
YAY! Welcome back, buddy!
