Tea Party!!

Welcome everyone! It’s so good to see you. I’m glad you could make it to the tea party! Feel free to stop in and say hello in the chat box below and/or scroll down to see what everyone brought to the party!
Update: Chat room is now closed - thanks to all who stopped by for a little chat! But you can still scroll down and see the results of the party!
=========================
Setting the tone for my tea party, my lovely and talented friend, the Diva, brought this beautiful watercolor that she made for me! Perfect! Perfect! Perfect! I never get tired of looking at this! ![]()

And Writer Chick must have been thinking along the same lines since she brought this lovely artwork she found. It is very appropriate considering how she and I came together in blogland. And of course, it’s very fitting for a tea party! LOL. Another perfect piece of art for our tea party!

My friend Red knows I can be a bit of a slob so she was looking out for me when she brought these lovely napkins for the tea party. Thanks, Red! That was really thoughtful and they really are so pretty! I hope I don’t spill!

My buddy, Ariell, made this awesome tea badge! It definitely is going to have to go into my sidebar! Thanks so much Ariell! By the way, Ariell is the one who made my last blog header - she is really very talented with this graphic stuff!

Paige brought her own favorite tea cup from the Tunnels of Moose Jaw. Isn’t it cute? Love the moose! It’s filled with her favorite tea, Earl Grey Tea from Two Leaves & A Bud.

Hay brought along one of her beautiful daughters (Nature Girl, I presume?) with one of her tea buddies. I LOVE this photo. I think sepia tones are perfect for a tea party, don’t you? I also love that Nature Girl didn’t forget to set out goodies with the tea!

Speaking of goodies, look what Melsie brought! Yum! These look divine. And there’s plenty to go around. Thank you, Melsie!

Here comes Talina with her mug and her favorite tea. It looks like Sweet Dreams by Bigelow. Okay, we need to station someone to keep an eye on Talina and make sure she doesn’t fall asleep during the party! ![]()

My friend Beth likes her favorite Stone Creek coffee better than tea so maybe she can share with Talina.
Oh, Kami - you are so sweet, and so SMART to have brought this:

We can aways use some honey at the table if anyone would like to sweeten their tea with it! And cute little tubby bears are always welcome at tea parties!
Hey, would anyone like to try some Kiwi Tea? Hannah brought enough to share of a favorite available in her region of New Zealand. Hmmm - the tagline says “Feel Alive,” so I guess we can also use this on Talina if she starts dozing. Heehee!

Wow - I never knew this existed! Reluctant Blogger found this interesting tea to bring. Now I’ve seen it all! LOL.

Who’d have thunk it? Whisky flavored tea for crying out loud? Nice find, RB! Love your creativity!
Wow - look at this great tea set collection that VeggieGirl brought to show! These are awesome! These are just part of her collection, which one Best in Show at a county fair she entered it in! I’m so honored that you would bring these to my tea party so we could all enjoy them. Thanks, VeggieGirl!

Now, my Sister #3 (who does not have a blog of her own) wanted to bring some teacups that “move” her. So here we go (hang onto your hats):

and she arrived wearing THIS outfit:

which really isn’t surprising if you consider this post. LOL
Thank you all so much for participating in my tea party. Love and hugs to you all for making my day and making the trip to 50,000 visitors a FUN one!

I changed these parties from pages to posts so I had to manually copy and paste each comment. That is why they may look funny here

I’m so sorry. I just now uploaded my teapot pic and find I’m late to the party. Happy 50k!
No need to be sorry. None of these parties are supposed to be stressful to anyone (other than myself, LOL). Thanks for the good wishes, Witchypoo!
What fun, thanks for inviting me!
Glad you participated!
Too fun, Teeni!! I love every single photograph that fellow bloggers submitted - thanks again for hosting such a lovely blog event!! :0)
Glad you enjoyed it!
Woohooooo .. this was fun!
Thanks, Red! I’m so glad you were part of it!
Yay, what a fun party!! Everyone bought such great things - and all so different!
Yeah - you guys are so creative! I love seeing the results.
Oh that was a blast!!! Thanks Teeni, *off to scoff some of Melsie’s divine looking cupcakes*. xxxx
No, thank YOU! Oh, and that second cupcake in from the left is mine!!!
that was a nice post.
I think I’m a tea party crasher.
nice pics too
Well, hello Warriorwitch and welcome to the Vaguetarian Tea Room! It’s okay to crash my tea party - that’s creative so it counts!
Haven’t I seen you around Witchypoo’s maybe? Anyway, friendly faces are always welcome here so join in whenever you like.
Sorry I only brought a coffee link. lol
Don’t feel bad - it counts!
LOL, I am sleepy… Great post! Loved reading about and viewing all the great photos!
Each one seems to be very representative of the person who submitted it huh? Very cool!
Thanks for being a good sport, Talina! I knew you could handle a little “tea”-sing! And yes, it’s always neat to see what each person brings.
Thanks so much for being a part of my tea party.
Oh I missed the chatting. Typical of me to be late. I need an email alert really!!
But the gifts were wonderful. You must do it again some time and next time I will definitely make sure I turn up in time to chat.
xx
LOL. I could use some email alerts myself so I know what you mean, RB! And yes, the gifts were great, weren’t they? These people really rock, even you ones who don’t really like tea. Thanks for making it fun for me! And yeah, I’ll try to catch you some other time in the chat thingy.
I’m sorry I missed out on your party - looks like all had a good time. This is such a geat idea. Hey, went to NYC and was given a little teeni, tiny tea set from grandma. In a pretty box made in England. I have not opened them up yet but let me tell ya - they are tiny! I’ll have to get a shadow box, no?
Oh, that is so neat that you got a tiny tea set from your grandma. I bet it is adorable AND it is sentimental coming from your grandma. Sure, you definitely have to display it somehow - a shadowbox would be great. And of course, you have to take photos and put them on your blog so we all can see. Cuz we’re nosey like that and stuff.
What a great tea party. Whiskey flavored tea, sweets, tea cups, purty pics and great napkins. You’ve outdone yourself Teens. Thanks for the invite.
Annie
You’re very welcome, Annie! I do like to party!
dang i miss alot LOL!
I had to celebrate having 50,000 visitors somehow!
