Cheery Bouquet

Before I post some long overdue memes, I’d like to say thank you to Paige Stanton at her Eat, Bitch & Whine blog for this lovely bouquet of flowers she gave me as a blog-warming present! She’s the best! If you haven’t visited Paige’s blog, give it a read - in addition to participating in 365 thing, where she writes about a different person for each day of the year, she also writes some great restaurant reviews so you’ll always know where to eat and where not to eat in Canada, AND she has been doing this whole series of posts on letters and typography. It is really neat and I am learning lots. Even if you think this doesn’t sound interesting, you should check it out - you would be pleasantly surprised like I was. And she has found all sorts of neat things to post on those areas and some great pictures as well. Thanks, Paige! I love my flowers (I shared them with my Meez). :)

Now I must mention a contest and another present. I’ve mentioned before that my good blog buddy, the Diva is pregnant. Well, I know that I probably won’t be able to attend any real life baby showers for her with her being all in up in the great white north and all and with me being down in the States. But I had a great idea - I entered this contest at Simply His Blogger and if I win this will be my baby shower gift to the Diva. Also, if I win, it would be a treat for ALL of us because it practically guarantees that she will continue blogging and providing her wonderful posts for at least another year! So anybody want to “chip in” with me for this gift? Simply click the link and enter the contest. It will be fun! :)
