I’m a Winning Peep

My post reviewing the Grezzo Restaurant is still in the works but I wanted to share this with you because I think it is adorable and I had to work really hard for it!
I recently earned the Peep of the Week award from Witchypoo! This is an award that she gives out to recognize the commenters at her site. Now if you haven’t visited Witchypoo’s site, you really are missing out, and not just on this award but on the wonderful comments at her site. She really does have the best commenters and I had to work really hard for this. Don’t believe me? Check it out for yourself. Many times I didn’t bother trying because I just couldn’t compete with the likes of Old Knudsen, The Over Thinker, and Zoe. But it is a great place to go and learn how to give good comment, or enjoy watching the masters. LOL.
The Peep of the Week award actually originated with Loralee at Loralee’s Looney Tunes. Loralee created this award and invites all to participate in her Peep of the Week program. If you are thinking of a good way to reward your commenters, this might be something you should try.
I’ve been lusting after one of these for a while and am so excited to have it! And it’s the perfect decoration for my new blog! Thanks, Witchypoo!

Good for you little peep! I would never bother, I am absolutely not the most “witty” commenter so I can’t keep up!
Some are just meant to comment and be hilarious and witty - that’s the fun for me, to read the comments too and crack up laughing. Some are also so insightful and helpful - I’m in awe of your mad commenting skills and you deserve the peep award, CONGRATS!

You deserve this award, peep. I’m not the wittiest commenter but usually the longest. My comments sometimes turn into posts. I have never known when to shut up. If I would just keep my mouth shut more often maybe I wouldn’t eat so much. Anyway, Congrats!!!

I wish I could give tips but over at Witchypoo’s you just never know what you are gonna get hit with for a post. So you really have to work impromptu. But that is half the fun, I suppose.

sometimes i worry that my comments on peoples blogs are pretty much garbage… i think its people sometimes i want to acknowlege that i read someones blog, and enjoyed it, but i really have nothing to say, so when in doubt, i just say somthing smarmy and hit “post”…
Oh, I know exactly what you are saying. I want my friends to know I’ve been there to read what they wrote but don’t always have a comment that hasn’t already been said! I was actually thinking of doing a whole post on that subject.
