Mad Lib Game Results

Posted on May 19, 2008 - Filed Under Games, Just for Fun

I was worried for a bit if this was going to happen when I was waiting for that last noun, but Annie saved the day! And in case any of you were wondering what the benefit of joining in my games was - well, there’s no big prize or anything but it’s easy and there is FUN! And oh yeah, how about a link? We all like those (even me)! See? There is at least some incentive in case you hadn’t figured it out yet. So before posting the mad lib, I’d like to say thanks to the following tea room comment-tater tots for participating in this mad lib (even if I didn’t use your word) - thanks so much for playing:

Annie

Hannah

Kami

Witchypoo

CuriousC

VeggieGirl

“Saint” Beth

DragonLady

Merri

Reluctant Blogger

Evyl

Calamity

Talina

Joan

Kaylee

And now the mad lib…

Good to the Last Byte

To be able to use a computer, you must have a keyboard, a monitor, and a hand-held tracking device called a llama. In order to operate your intriguing computer, a divine disk or a floppy tree are essential. Computers are very helpful for students because they store a million head lice of information in their hard work and correct misspelled bird baths. They can also add, subtract, and eat numbers. Now computers come in every shape and size, big and nostalgic. The laptop computer, which sits on your duodenum, is small enough that you can tuck it under your iris or carry it to school in your space bag. Today the computer is as much a part of the household as the kitchen excaliber.

Ta-Daaaah! That was fun. Hope you liked it! Oh, and stay tuned because tomorrow I’ll post the latest adventures of Marie Cambridge that you all helped write. The poor woman! LOL.

Hah! You are a very inventive woman. Can’t wait to see the story game.

Thanks, Witchypoo - I do try. Gotta let that creative energy out somehow, I guess. That’s my problem - tons of creative ideas but no talent to use it on. So games it is!

    Glad you liked it, DL!

“a divine disk” - haha, never knew my adjective would be describing a computer accessory! :0D

LOL. Yeah, usually you find people cursing those things. ;)

Oh, how fun! Teeni, I love your games! Can’t wait to read about Marie…

Hmm - sounds like you’ve been here before but I don’t think I know this handle. But, um, welcome to the Vaguetarian Tea Room, um, again! ;) *heh* I’m glad you love my games. :)

Love it, Teeni! Aren’t we a crazy bunch?! :-D
Yeup! But you guys help make ME look sane! LOL. Just kidding. I am just thankful to have found such a wonderful and creative group of bloggers. :) :) :)

Now that you mention it uvula might sound a little dirtier on this game.

I love using that word - people always ask me what it means or look shocked when I say it. It’s especially fun in winter when you announce to a room full of your nieces and nephews that it’s so cold out that you think you froze your uvula off. :)

Ha! Funny . .great idea as always, Teeni.

Thanks, Red! Sorry I missed you this time around.

Well, It’s a good thing I can’t spell bird bath. My misspelling worked out great for the story. You did a terrific job. One of the bloggers I visit is an English teacher and I am always afraid when I leave a comment that I will make some grammatical error. I usually call my sister if I’m not sure. She was a copy editor for a newspaper and she knows her grammar and spelling. Well, I still want an excaliber to tuck into my cane. Can’t wait to see what Marie is up to. I just spent ten minutes reading about uvulas on Wikipedia. I think I know more about uvulas then I ever wanted to know.

Ha - I know what you mean about being afraid to leave comments at an English teacher’s site. I have those fears all the time. Ah, Joan - I love your comments as much as I love your posts. If I ever see a cane even with a fake excaliber, I am SOOOO buying it and sending it to you. And I hope I didn’t set your uvula all a-wagging! LOL. ;) :)

    Hey, pretty good! :)

    Thanks, Bethy! :)

You are funny. Whatever will you think of next. I love your games. Glad the headlice came in handy.

I never know what I will think of next. That question scares me. LOL. And yes - I think those head lice came in extremely handy for me - sorry they had to be such a pain for you. :(

Ha! Ha! Ha! FUNNY turn out! I use to have a mad-libs book as a kid, I haven’t thought about it in years! Cool!

I happen to keep some in with my game collection, you know, for when nieces or nephews come over. Or more often, when I feel like torturing TGH. LOL
