What the World Needs Now

…a little love! This was awarded to me by the lovely Diva because she loves me, my comments, my emails and my blog! It’s an awesome award and I’m so honored to receive it. Plus, it’s really cute! Just look at that little happy face! LOL. This award originated with Emila at Emila’s Illustrated Blog. Note: This was updated to include the originator when I found out who it was. It’s a wonderful award Emila - thanks for creating it. 
This is a tough one to give out because you know, I just want to give it to all the bloggers in my blogroll and my feed reader. After much thought, I decided it should go to the bloggers who I feel I’ve been connecting well with most recently and they deserve some calling out. I hope you all can spread the love around but there is no pressure, as always. So even, if you can’t get to passing your award on, please take a copy of it, knowing how much I appreciate you and your blogs. I think I was supposed to award this to 10 people, but 14 is as low as I could narrow it down to. Sorry (not really - I’m glad I have so many good ones that it’s hard to choose). And here are my recipients, in no particular order:
JavaQueen 14 - Here is a heck of a creative mind that always keeps me either thinking or laughing. JavaQueen has a great idea for a wonderful neighborhood community too.
Talina - This girl is one always into something. A contest, a dance routine, making a commercial, you just never know. But amidst it all, she makes time to visit and comment and encourage and teach. With a wisdom beyond her years, she is a pleasure and I’m glad I’ve met her.
Fugitive - This blogger is a wonderful, honest writer (don’t worry, Fugitive - that doesn’t mean I think you are or should be telling us everything - it just means that there is an honesty in your writing of the things you DO choose to let us know that we all can relate to). Anyway, she is not afraid to admit she isn’t perfect and she is still learning on her life’s journey. I think we all can appreciate that and I enjoy her friendship, her blog, and her posts.
Joan Harvest - Speaking of honesty, here is a woman who is not afraid to tell it like it is, politically correct or not. And that is why we like her. With Joan you don’t have to sweat the little things or worry about where you stand. She is a breath of fresh air in a stale world.
Witchypoo - Witchypoo is one blogger who can do it all - she is a friend, a teacher, a business owner, a mom, a great story teller, and an encourager. Everyone needs their own Witchypoo. Back off guys, this one is mine! Well, okay, I’ll share because I love you all that much (and I trust that she won’t go running in screaming terror as soon as I release my vice-like grip on her **crosses fingers**) .
Hannah at Blairs Boys - Hannah is one of my oldest blogging buddies. She’s been there for me for everything pretty much. A true friend, with mad creative skills, always a kind word, and even though she is a busy mom with LOTS going on in her own life, she is more attentive than some real life friends! Blogging for me wouldn’t have been the same without her.
Kami at Kami’s Place - Kami is the third angle in the the love triangle that is Hannah and I. LOL. She just has the perfect personality and sense of humor to bring us all together. She is one fantastic story teller and each blog post she puts up, is a pleasure to read. She can make an ordinary day in the life of two young boys sound like a trip to a comedy club. Her sarcastic wit is a wonder to behold (and she does it all without really being dirty - a talent in itself these days)!
MacBros at MacBros’ Place - This guy keeps me in stitches. And it’s not just his posts, but the action in his comments section that is fun to read. His interactions with his relatives, DragonLady, and other visitors are a treat. He’s a good egg. Slightly cracked, but a good egg, nonetheless. 
DragonLady at DragonLady’s World - Here’s the other half of the MacBros’ comedy team I enjoy so much. DragonLady is about to be added to my blog roll. I’ve been lurking at her place for a while and am finally getting around to adding her. Sorry it took so long, DL. I’m slow at times. But I do so enjoy you, your blog, and our fun at MacBros’ place!
Kat at Snapdragons - Kat is my quiet friend. You don’t hear too much from her but possibly she is just pretending to ignore my silliness at times. You see, she has a seriously good blog, a beautiful garden, exquisite tastes in food and decorating, and the prettiest cat ever. Even though she is quiet, she deserves to know I love her and her blog and that I don’t forget people who are nice to me.
Hay at The Secret Life of Us - One of the sweetest bloggers I’ve met. And one of the most seriously talented with a camera. She is a fantastic human, a mom of four gorgeous girls, and though she has the same trials in life that we all have, she remains a positive happy hippie of a blogger and I love that about her.
Beth at Eclectic Studio Cafe - Beth has been a steadfast friend since I first started visiting her blog. She has awesome photography skills, especially macro stuff. Note my professional terminology. That’s so you won’t confuse me with the pros. LOL. Anyhoo, Beth claims to be a “saint” at times, but I think we both know she’s a regular joe like the rest of us and that makes it easy for me to be her friend when her talent so far outshines mine.
Bobby Revell at Revellion.com - Here is a man of strong convictions but is true of heart. He shares his blogging knowledge and his incredible writing skills at his blog. I can’t think of a reason why anybody would NOT love Bobby or his blog.
Red - My buddy Red is, like Joan, unafraid to say what’s on her mind. I really do admire that about her and I like her ability to tackle subjects that others may shy away from. It isn’t always pretty but it’s always honestly. And this chica has mad haiku skills.
Okay, I promise, I’m stopping NOW. It was hard to stop though. I want everyone to have this award so I hope you all will go about and share it with others, in your own time, of course, as you see fit.

Thank you, darlin. You forgot to mention that I’ve been seriously neglecting my blog the last week, as I’ve been eyebrow-deep in code and hardly out of my jammies. My boss is understanding that way though

What a sweet thing to say! I love it! You know, I spent plenty of time as an “outsider” myself and this tea room is my corner of the world where everyone is welcome. Doesn’t matter what you look like, how much money you have, what you believe, or what you eat or wear. The only rules here are to be kind to each other and to be respectful. I feel that everyone on my blogroll, including the new reads and sites I visit, fit this bill or they wouldn’t be linked to. So I like to think of this as the non-alcoholic version of the bar, Cheers. LOL.

I’ve sent you an email regarding this. I didn’t know of Emila and at first I couldn’t trace the award all the way back as I hit a dead end. But I was able to track it down eventually by checking other recipients’ sites. LOL. Then I found out you had already received it. But I think you deserve it at least twice anyway.
