I’m Nominated??!!!??

Wow. Some days you just never know what’s gonna hit you. Today I got hit by a Hoss. I don’t really even know what a Hoss is, but I’ve been nominated for the Bloggy Hoss Elections. One of you, my dear readers, must have nominated me for it, because I had never even heard of it! Yes, I need to expand my blogging horizons, I readily admit it. Well, this was a good way to force me to do it because I see a lot of great blogs were nominated and I see some new ones I’d like to check out. Anyway, I’m fortunate that I noticed this at all because there is no incoming link for it on my dashboard. I just happened to notice a referral coming from the site and went to check it out. After I saw my own little tea room had been nominated and then retrieved my eyes back into my head and my jaw back up off my lap, I just felt such a nice warm virtual hug from the blogosphere.

Want to know what category I was nominated for? Okay, wait for it …

Head Cheerleader! This just makes me smile all over. I wish I knew which one of you nominated me so I could thank you personally. I sure as heck don’t mind cheering for any of my blog buddies. What was even more surprising was that there is a category for Most Talkative and I wasn’t nominated for that one. LOL. If any of you are interested in voting for me to win in this category, just go here and cast your vote. You know I love to win things! And help save my dignity by not making me have to pinch you to get you to vote like I had to do with TGH!

But seriously, what is a hoss?? It certainly sounds impressive! And for you to be nominated in THAT category? Perfect! You are definitely my favourite cheerleader, you are so supportive and such a good friend. I am off to vote

Thank you, Hannah! I don’t know what a Hoss is either. I was trying to figure it out at the election site but came up empty-handed. All I can think is maybe it’s somebody’s name. I will have to do more research on that. But it does sound impressive, doesn’t it?

ok, i voted for ya, although im not sure what a hoss is, either (except something they call each other in texas).

How come I never get picked for head cheerleader?

You might be right about the hoss - that was my original though too! LOL. Oh, and you don’t get picked because you don’t wear your skirts short enough! And it would help if you shaved the legs.
