Thanks for the Votes!

I am sorry to say I didn’t win the Head Cheerleader award during the 2008 Hoss Bloggy Elections. I hope I didn’t disappoint you all. What - do I smell or something? If I do, it’s from cheering so dang hard! LOL.

Now don’t feel bad for me. I am still keeping my priorities straight:

  1. I woke up alive and breathing this morning, and
  2. I still have the best blog buddies and readers ever :)

I could see on my administration panel that many of you really did link to the election site to vote and I appreciate it. Sure, I may not have as big a readership as some of the more popular or successful blogs so of course I wouldn’t get as many votes as they do, but I still have the best readers! And it was fun to be nominated and included at all, so thanks so much to all of you who voted and thanks for the nomination, Witchypoo! :)

    Very true, Mr. Parkour. It would be no fun if I won all the time. You are a smart man. Oh, I love to try and make my Meez do something related to whatever I’m posting about. Glad you enjoyed it.

    I know you did, buddy. And I’m fine about it really. The important thing is that my good buddies still come here and read my drivel. :) I always feel like a winner when I see all these great people coming by and commenting and stuff. No award could replace that. It was fun to be included anyway and I got to see some other nice blogs that I didn’t know about.

    Look at it this way you were nominated so that is recognition. As I tell my daughter, we cannot always be the number one and there is nothing wrong with that as long as you have done your best.

    That’s very true. I don’t need to be number one as long as I feel I count. :) Thanks for your kind words.

    LOL. Nah, they are doing a nice thing over there. I got to see a lot of new sites I didn’t know about it. I am fine with that as long as they don’t steal my awesome blog buddies away. Because then that would be cause for a rumble. ;)

    awww. i’m sorry. but if it makes you feel any better i have never really been fond of cheerleaders!

    Thanks, Zoe! To be honest, the cheerleaders at my high school were all kinda snooty anyway. I didn’t really mesh with them because I belonged to the crowd that didn’t belong to any cliques. ;) Cheerleaders, shmeerleaders. I like my friend Heather’s description of me as being an “encourager.” :) An encourager who gets to shake her pom-poms. LOL.
