With that, my guess is Peru.

And, do we need to guess the exact island, or is answering something like, for example, Indonesia, close enough? Because maybe we’ve all been focusing too much on South America, which may be the case, considering we’ve about run out of South American countries that have coastlines!

Sorry Memarie. It’s not Chile. We did get a correct answer though - Calamity won with Portugal. I vacationed in the Azores islands of Portugal. Nobody else really came close - I couldn’t believe it.
