Well, ME … for this lovely award from Birdpress! I was getting a little jealous seeing all my buddies get this great award but I’m so glad that it finally found its way to me and my trophy room! Isn’t it pretty? Thanks so much for including me in with the many great blogs who have received this before me. I’m honored. 
These are the rules:
1) Choose 5 blogs that you consider deserving of this award based on creativity, design, interesting material, and overall contribution to the blogger community, regardless of the language.
2) Post the name of the author and a link to his or her blog by so everyone can view it.

Girly at Lingerie and Dishpan Hands - Because I know she lusted after it and because she does have a quality blog that is a wonderful contribution to the blogosphere! I’m new to her site but enjoying it!
Luzcace at Luzcace - Pottery in Puerto Plata - DR - This site has always had wonderful pictures of art by the blogger’s wife, food by the blogger at his job, and just the beautiful paradise of Puerto Plata where they live. It’s a truly beautiful blog - click on some posts or click on some of the categories to view the photos and learn more about life in the Dominican Republic. It’s like taking a mini vacation!
Heather at Heather Smith Jones - One of my favorite artists - she not only adds creativity, design and interesting material to the blogosphere but also to the rest of the world. And she’s one of the sweetest bloggers EVA!
Susan at Art Esprit - Susan is a true artist in her own right, but she is also one of the greatest contributors to the blogosphere in that she promotes and displays the work of other artists on both her blog and in her real life gallery. And she is another of the sweetest bloggers - I can speak from personal experience on this one.
Chip at Chip’s Quips - Chip contributes so much to the blogosphere - great links, wonderfully written stories, and technical expertise.
I hope you all can avail yourselves to a copy of the lovely award. If you can’t or aren’t into that kind of thing then please know that at least I thought you deserved it.
Speaking of winners
- the winner of my little contest held in the previous three posts was Calamity of Calamityville! She guessed the right country that I vacationed at, which was Portugal. Specifically, TGH and I were in the Azores islands of Portugal and I will post a little more about that with pics and stuff shortly. Though some of my readers were suffering from a severe case of denial, it’s true that the contest is now over. LOL. Would you care to see the souvenir from the Azores that you’ve won, Calamity?

Oh wow, how cool! I have always wanted to go to Portugal, what a fantastic trip. I was beginning to get worried when you were autoposting for so long…. I am so glad it was a vacation… so so very glad!
