It’s All About Me, Sorta, Kinda

I was tagged by Dan at dcrblogs to do a meme. Dan is a creative little bugger and put his own spin on the meme as you can see here. However, I’m not that creative, especially when it comes to music so I’m reverting the meme to its original format or I won’t be able to complete it. LOL.

The object is to complete each of the following snippets. I have included the blank ones at the end of this post so they can easily be copied and pasted cuz I’m nice sometimes (don’t tell anyone, don’t want that getting around). Here goes!

I am: enjoying life.
I think: we inadvertently complicate our lives too much.
I know: I still have to uncomplicate mine.
I have: many gifts to be thankful for.
I wish: everyone could be healthy and pain-free to enjoy life.
I hate: crowds and crowd mentality/mass hysteria.
I miss: my grandmother like crazy.
I fear: for the future for my nieces/nephews/great-niece and great-nephew.
I hear: that Estelle Getty, Harvey Korman, and George Carlin died. That sucks. The big one.
I smell: toasted dust on my laptop.
I crave: Forbidden Chocolate ice cream by Friendly’s (only cuz I know it is in the freezer right now).
I search: for beauty, uniqueness, and positivity.
I wonder: why we get wisdom with age.
I regret: taking things for granted for so long.
I love: my husband, my dysfunctional family, my cats, and getting to know nice new people.
I ache: when loved ones are hurting.
I am not: as good as I could be nor as bad as I could be.
I believe: humans have so much more to learn.
I dance: when nobody is watching.
I sing: badly.
I cry: at weddings, musicals, movies, or whenever I see anyone else cry (even if it is in the movie or on the television).
I fight: my own demons.
I win: at Whack-a-Mole.
I lose: my patience with my family too easily.
I never: turn on the television at home.
I always: read in bed at night.
I confuse: myself and others regularly.
I listen: to my husband for he is very wise.
I can usually be found: because I try not to get lost. I get lost easily but I’ve always been found so far.
I am scared: that sometime I might snap.
I need: nothing, at the moment. I want loads, but I have food, warmth, love and shelter so don’t need anything.
I am happy about: being alive.
I imagine: It would be neat to live in a new place every year for a few years, then choose our favorite place to make home.

I’m not wonderful at games of tag, but I’ll copy it and maybe give it a go in the future.

Thanks for tagging me! I liked reading your fill-ins. It’s always cool to see the things people come up with to answer such things. I think your answers show that you are a kind, thoughtful and honest person.

Oh, and thanks for the blanks; that does make it easier. I will do it later when I have some time to sit and think.

Cool - I’m glad you will participate. I love seeing other people’s answers as well. Well, I TRY to be kind, thoughtful, and honest. Nobody’s perfect, but I can try, right? Oh, and yeah - this one does make you think. Have fun with it!

Whoa! Michelle! I was thinking what a funny, sweet person you must be when I see all your comments at Dan’s and your posts at your site. But now I’m a little afraid of you. Poor monkeys. Your answers are so optimistic and beautiful. You are such a positive person and spread sunshine and love. You do know you are special, right? I mean, I LONG to be like you. You seem calm, cool, and collected. You put a lot of your heart into these answers and I found them to be very motivational- {{hugs}} to a great person!

You are so sweet! I’m sure though that I come across on the blogs as nicer than I am in real life because after all you are only seeing a small slice of me. But I DO try to put a lot of heart and thought into my answers and my comments on blogs because well, I try to treat it as an exercise to form my thoughts better and to practice expressing myself better. LOL. But ask TGH whether I am calm, cool, and collected most days. Someday maybe I’ll let him do a guest post and give an objective description of me. Aw, no you most certainly have never given me a negative impression, VeggieGirl!
