Another One of Those Days

Life can be pretty gritty at times.
It can spin you in circles,
find you pulling more than your own weight,
And feeling like everything is going down hill.
There’s no doubt about it. Life is certainly filled with ups
But it’s important to remember that you don’t have to take it sitting down.
You can take charge by putting on a new face and and hoping for the best.
You may find that you get a free ride once in a while.
Look for, recognize, and appreciate those times. More will come your way.
I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Teeni, this is so very cleverly written! All true but with the cutest pics EVER!
Here’s hoping you get loads of free rides, what’s better than that?
Awww, this is just the best!
Thanks, JavaQueen! You are sweet!
Free rides are awesome so long as we remember to be grateful for them and not expect them out of life.
Great pictures and great copy. I just wanted to recommend two books to you which I have just finished reading.
1. Do one thing different. By Bill O’Hanlon
ISBN 978-0-688-17794-2
2. Think Better. By Tim Hurson ISBN 13: 978-0-07-022359-2
Oh thanks, Rummy! I think I heard of one of them before but I haven’t read either of them yet. I will add them to my to read books on Goodreads!
Cool picture…, neat way of putting a positive spin on what would otherwise have negative connotations.
Weekend? What’s that?
I’m glad you liked it. I like to keep it interesting over here. Weekend? You are supposed to have a long one this weekend! Don’t you get the holiday off?
Wonderful photographs to match your equally-wonderful words, Teeni
Hope your weekend is going well!!
Thanks, VeggieGirl!
So far, the weekend has been busy, but in a good way. Hope yours is too!
What happy cuties! Nicely done, Teeni.
Thanks, mJ! I appreciate it.
Hi! I am thoroughly impressed with your knowledge of Doll Clothes. Your insights into this article about Doll Clothes was well worth the the time to read it. I thank you for posting such awsome information. Signed James Kryten on this Day Sunday.
As a new feature to my blog, I’ve decided to copy and paste in some of the really stupid spam comments I receive. I will copy and paste them but delete the original so they can continue to be reported as spam to my spam catchinator. So my reply to the spammer above is this:
Yes, I am very knowledgeable about Doll Clothes. So knowledgeable, in fact, that I actually initial capitalize the term Doll Clothes every time I use it in everyday language. And wow - you are so bright to have figured out that Doll Clothes is what my blog is all about. I’m so impressed with YOUR knowledge too.
It put a smile on my face. THANKS!
As you might be aware, that if you’re truly having a terrible week, you can always Flip It Off at my place.
I think I finally figured out what the acronym stood for after I left your site. What a dope. **smacks self in forehead** Glad my post gave you a smile.
Adorable! What a sweet, happy thing to read this morning.
Thanks, BP! I’m glad you liked it. They do cheer me up too, those two little urchins.
Hope yours has been great as well.
Thanks, Evyl.
I needed a little Doll Clothes in my life today
LOL. It amazes me the stuff they come up with for those spam comments yet they still can’t deliver them convincingly. Such a waste of time and effort on their part. So I may as well use the free material they give me, right?
I loved these photos, the kids are adorable, and the post was very inspirational. Good post!
Thanks Wendy! They really are adorable. And I have 9 others! I will have to try and get permission to show you more of them.
I, too, am impressed with your knowledge of Doll Clothes. Feel free to discuss Doll Pants and Doll Shirts and Doll Socks and Doll Underwear at any point in your future posts. I’m sure it will be well worth my time to read it. Signed B.E. Earl on this Day Sunday.
I know - really. I’m feeling like I’ve let you all down because that is obviously what you come here to read about. LOL.
Thank you for a very uplifting, positive post.
It’s hard not to be positive or feel uplifted when looking into those faces.
Thanks for commenting, Karen.
Oh, and I’ve added you to my reader!
What a fabulous out look for life and those kids are perfect muses for your message.
That great niece looks so very much like you, I imagine her as you when you were that age! Full of life and a happy smile
They really are great muses. I actually looked sort of Asian when I was little, believe it or not. That plus the fact that my sister told me I was adopted (I wasn’t) didn’t help me feel like I fit in to my family much.
I had to comment again… I had to figure out what the doll clothes thing was about… I thought I had missed something in the post! Spam. Sheesh. Find something better to do with your time people.
I’ve been getting a lot of different ones lately and they almost could pass for a real comment except that they obviously have nothing to do with the post, LOL. I thought I should be sharing some of them with you all because they try to be so clever.
Very cute.
Thanks, Honeywine!
Hey if you are really that much of an expert on doll clothes- I know where you can guest post…
I love the pictures. I always wanted to get one of those crabby sand pits- but I don’t think I would like the mess and my kids might get jerky with the sand anyway.
LOL. Maybe you need to get the turtle sand pit - it’s not nearly as crabby.
Hahaha, that is so clever and sweet. And I LOVE your SPAM comment, lol!!!!
Thanks, Hay! That one was just such an oddball comment. Doll clothes? Really? LOL.
what a very clever and fun post! i love the pictures!!!
Thanks, Natalie! I love putting all the pics together for a little story every so often. Some days it’s fun to look at past posts and I know these ones will cheer me up.
I love the kids in the pic, what energy they have. I wish I was back to being one, hehehe.
I do too!
I’ve added you to my reader, Sheng!
That spammer needs a life
and umm yeah Thanks for that post! buit, that wasnt about you was it? You do not want to know the thought in my head by the time I got to the bottom of that post….I hope you are okay teeni! And please tell me that it is not what i am thinking?
OH i am making you read my head in that Comment huh? okay i was thingking the “C” Word! Love tjose children btw
The post had nothing to do with cancer, Kaylee - just life in general so don’t worry. And putting those picture posts together is fun for me.
I love the way you think!
Thanks, Casdok! Sometimes it is a lot of work to have a good day, as I’m sure you know from experience, but the rewards can be well, so rewarding! LOL. And I know you know that too. So I’m glad to share this smile with you.
There is just no way to look at those pics and not smile.
They are kind of cheery, aren’t they?
Thanks, DL.
thanks, a smile is always good
Hey Oz, your poems are always so serious but seriously good! Anyway, I know you enjoy a good smile every so often. Thanks for the kind words.
This is a great post.. I love the pics and your message! Oh and your knowledge on Doll Clothes is impressive and inspirational!
Sorry I haven’t been around much lately… I have a lot of catching up to do!!
Thanks for the smile!
Girly
Hey Girly - nice to see you! Don’t apologize! We all go missing from time to time and real life demands us away too. It’s totally understandable. You come around when you can and I’m happy with that. Thanks for the kind words.
Great post, Teeni!! You have an awesome attitude to life. And the way you wrote this, with the photos of your gorgeous family, is precious!
I am so thankful that I get to see them and enjoy them as much as I do. I’m blessed.
Aw how adorable - and you’re right. Are those your nieces and nephews? They are awesomely cute and sweet. Hope you are having a good weekend too honey.
Annie
Hi Annie! That is my great niece and my great nephew. I’ve got nine regular (but just as good looking) nieces and nephews.
Thats good
Great inspirational post here, fun comments, and a chuckle at regular vs great N&Ns… (I wish there was a term that meant both nieces and nephews together, don’t you?) Maybe I should just refer to mine as N’s. just Ns. ? But it would take too much time to explain, I ’spose…
Thanks, C! Yeah, Ns would be easier to say but then you’d have to explain it and then I’d get out of breath and nobody would understand what the heck I was talking about and look at me like I was ready for the long-sleeved white jacket. Oh, wait - that already happens. LOL.
Very cute! And creative!
Thanks, MJ! I do try and have some fun with these.
These pills gained good reputation, and the manufacturers of these pills, as well as vendors, passed several certification and conformance tests, by governmental structures to reveal ineffective or dangerous products.
Your comment didn’t gain good reputation, and the administrator of this blog, as well as all the readers, by way of the internet, are all going to make fun of it now. Thanks for coming by!
oh, i love this post, and the pictures spoke the truth all too clearly. what better way to enjoy life than to see it in a child’s eyes.
your spam and replies cracks me up!
Thanks, Odette! Yeah, it is really fun to see things with and through them!
Tuesday I was looking for sites related to ski vacations but specifically for sites about bahamas sailing vacation and I found you site.
What a coincidence! Today I was looking for comments that had nothing to do with my posts and I found yours!
those pictures are absoletely STELLAR! beautiful family….
Thanks, Slyde. They are a lot of fun. And the best thing is I can leave them with their parents when they (or I) get tired and grumpy. LOL.
[…] teeni […]
that was a cute little inspiration.
p.s. the spam comments= AWESOMENESS!
Thanks, Sarah! And yeah, I figured I would start using the free blog fodder that the spammers provide.
What a great post. Just when I needed it. The photos fit so perfectly. You are my sunshine today, Teeni. Thanks!!!
Aw Joan! I wish I could do so much more for you. But I’m glad if I could give you a smile.
Hugs to you!
This is such an encourage piece and how did you find the perfect pics? I love it
Thanks, Romi! I guess I’m just fortunate that they have a big back yard and I have a digital camera!
