September Shouts Around the Blogosphere

Some of these bullets I’ve wanted to shout about for a while but am just getting around to it now. Others, like the first one, just happened so you can’t blame me for holding out on you. LOL.
- Go here to see my beautiful friend, Paige and congratulate her on her wedding. She just came back from her honeymoon and I’ve never seen a happier looking couple!
- My friend, Jen, arrived safely in Ireland and is having a grand old time there - check out her adventures here!

- Mac over at MacBros’ Place provides a service for you if you are having a bad week and just need to flip someone off. Go here and you’ll see what I mean. Recognize anyone (hint: scroll down)? He accepts photo submissions so you never have to display vulgar hand gestures at your OWN blog! How cool is that? LOL
- A similar service is provided by my friend the Dirty Laundry Diva here. If you ever need an anonymous place to confess or rant but don’t want to take the chance at your own blog, this is the place to go.
- And it seems a mischievous spirit is loose on the blogosphere. Not only are Dan and I having an avatar war, but look what happened to the JavaQueen’s header. What IS a guava anyway? ;) All signs point to Spidey, I mean Peter Parkour, but who knows?
I just wanted to mention for those that haven’t noticed, that I’ve decided to “keep” some spammy comments that I receive. I actually copy and paste the comments into a new comment, and then update the name from mine to the name of the commenter. This way I can still report the spam to my spaminator and then delete it, but still keep the copy to make fun of and let out a little sarcasm. I just thought I should warn you in case you see the comments so you won’t be thinking that they’ve been getting past my spam filter. Some of you don’t read the other comments when you comment and that is fine. Some people do though, and it gives me a tiny bit of pleasure so I’m gonna go with that. 
And what is it with me and accidentally hitting the “mark all as read” button on my reader before I’m done checking out all my favorite haunts? I hate when that happens but it seems to have happened a lot lately. Grrr.

I read through comments also, but sometimes if there are a bunch, my short attention span kicks in, and…what was I saying?

So Spidey is using the “One armed man excuse”. I don’t know. There may have to be an investigation. We need a good detective to sort this out.

I don’t usually flip anyone off either. But I traded a flip off so I could Mac to participate in the war against Dan’s avatar. I figured it was well worth it. LOL. Oh, and you don’t see my face in that one because I’ve been feeling especially fat and gross lately and have never felt good about my looks since the chemo and radiation. I seriously need to do some stuff to feel better about myself. But I’m hoping you will get to see me sometime soon on here.

I enjoy spammy comments sometimes, because they are quite funny. Trolls are the best, especially when they come in and shout something random that has nothing to do with the post.

LOL about the porn, though I’m sure that is true from the spam I’ve seen. No, I’ve never had guava pastries - they sound good though and they do sell guava paste at the supermarket. I wouldn’t know what to do with it though. I’ll have to look up some recipes and try it out, especially with your endorsement that they are friggin awesome! I definitely want to try it!

Thanks, Sarah! I hope no war finds you too! But you never know. I mean, my poor little Meez was doing nothing really but minding her own business and just being her harmless little hussy self when all of a sudden she was attacked. It should make us all question just how well do we really know our blog buddies and can we really trust them with our Meezes and avatars and blog headers? LOL.
But a little friendly war is good for creativity I think.
