Create-A-Question Meme

Posted By Teeni on September 28, 2008

I was tagged to do this meme by the lovely blogger at the Bead Den.

The rules of the game:

RULE #1 : People who have been tagged must write their answers on their blogs and replace any question that they dislike with a new question formulated by themselves.

RULE #2 : Tag 6 people to do this quiz and they cannot refuse. These people must state who they were tagged by and cannot tag the person whom they were tagged by continue this game by sending it to other people.  Disclaimer:  I did not write these rules and I’m not all that bossy and don’t want to put pressure on people so the people I tag can, of course, refuse, but I hope they won’t!  ;)  ~Teeni

1. If your lover betrayed you, what will your reaction be?

I’d be upset and try to find out how to keep it from happening again. I hope we’d find a way to work it out.

2. If you can have a dream to come true, what would it be?

I used to dream I could fly. That would be kind of cool to be able to do. :)

3. Whose butt would you like to kick?

Dan’s avatar’s. LOL ;)

4. What would you do with a billion dollars?

Honestly I think I would first help my family members to be in a better place financially. In return, I’d ask them to join me in doing more for charity now that we were in a better place financially.

5. Will you fall in love with your best friend?

TGH is my best friend and I did fall in love with him.

6. Which is more blessed, loving someone or being loved by someone? I’m changing this question because I think most people would say “both” for their answer. The new question is “Have you ever been in love with two people at once?”

I often wondered how I would handle this but I can’t recall ever having been in this situation.

7. How long do you intend to wait for someone you really love?

I’d only wait if I thought they loved me back for one and for two, I’d only wait as long as there was hope that they were coming for me. But if the question is how long would I wait around for someone to find to love then the answer is that I wouldn’t wait at all - I’d try to get out and live life because you seem to find someone to love when you aren’t looking. ;)

8. If the person you secretly like is already attached, what would you do?

I’d have to keep my distance because it would have to be up to them to decide whether they wanted to be attached to someone else or to me.

9. If you like to act with someone, who will it be? your gf/bf or an actress/actor?

I’d like to act with Gary Sinise and I’d like to be his girlfriend/wife/lover. That way I could get to maybe kiss him but not really be cheating on my hubby cuz it would be “work,” ya know? ;)

10. What takes you down the fastest?

I have to agreen with the Bead Den and say negativity. I’ve had lots of hopes and dreams squashed because of other people’s negativity and me letting it affect me.

11. How would you see yourself in ten years time?

Alive, happy, and healthy. That would be good.

12. What’s your fear?

Death. Leaving my hubby and my loved ones. I’m not sure it is a rational fear or if it really is a fear, technically. I just know I want to stay alive and on this planet, my home.

13. What kind of person do you think the person who tagged you is?

She seems very intelligent, creative, talented, and has a good sense of humor.

14. Would you rather be single and rich or married but poor?

I’d pretty much adapt to anything. As long as I can eat and pay bills, I’m happy.

15. What’s the first thing you do when you wake up?

Grumble and shut off my alarm clock when I should be thankful that I was allowed another morning.

16. Would you give all in a relationship?

I think it could be exhausting. I think a good relationship doesn’t require one person to give all. It should be better balanced.

17. If you fall in love with two people simultaneously, who would you pick?

I would not pick anyone until I decided that I loved one more than the other.

18. Would you forgive and forget no matter how horrible a thing the someone has done?

I can forgive, I never forget. That doesn’t mean that person would be a part of my life anymore though. I am leaving Bead Den’s answer as it makes a lot of sense. But I’m adding that it all depends on the circumstances as to whether the person would still be in my life. Sometimes I just need a lot of time to get over things.

19. Do you prefer being single or having a relationship?

Even if I were single, I would hope I’d have relationships with friends. I would still like to get out and do things with people and have a social life. It’s not ALL about sex, anyway, is it? But as it is, I have a hubby with whom I enjoy many things. :)

20. List 6 people to tag

Here are the people I tag but if I didn’t tag you and this seems interesting to you, then please grab it and go with it. But leave me a link so I can be nosy and see what you wrote! Thanks! :) Some of these bloggers are newer to my google reader but they are good reads and I’ve been enjoying them. You will probably love them as much as I do. Give them a try!

    What great answers, Teeni.
I wish I could go back and do mine over and say ‘ya,what she said’

Flying would be awesome. I’m always flying around in my dreams.

They were all just really thoughtful answers. But then you are a thoughtful person.

Take care and thanks for the compliments. :)
I feel that way all the time when I see other people’s answers. But I DO try to think about the questions before I answer them. Thanks for noticing. :) And the compliments are sincere and well deserved.

Hi. I am going to check it, since I saw a comment in another site regarding ”’t Always Dangerous | Vaguetarian Tea Room”. Someone related to chocolate kisses cookies. Thanks anyway.

Hi. Okay, you just go ahead and do that, why dontcha? You’re welcome.

I love your answers and i glad you didnt say you wanted to kick my butt LOL!

You are allowed to have your own opinions. No butt-kicking necessary. I just happen to like my opinions better. ;)

Interesting meme - and really good reading! I enjoyed this. Might play sometime if I need an idea for a post, as it could be fun :-)

You are always welcome to steal a meme! :)

Whatever happened to CommentLuv? There’s a new version out now.

    Sent you an email.

Thanks for the tag, Teeni! I also want to copy some of your answers because you said just what I’d like to say for a few of them. I may have to quote you or something! I like that we can change questions if we want because some of these seem as if they were written by a teenager. ;)

LOL. Yeah, some seemed a little young and some seemed maybe written by someone who didn’t have a good control of the English language. So it is kind of neat that you can change the questions. Oh, go ahead and quote me if you like. :)

I thoroughly enjoyed reading your post and the answers. Nice game, but count me out!

  8. joanharvest (91 comments.) says:

Great answers especially #3. About half the questions on here don’t apply to me because I have no intention of getting into a relationship if I can help it. Once was enough. I love my total freedom. Flying is no good for me. I have a phobia about heights or maybe just a fear. Let’s just say I like me feet planted firmly on the ground. You can fly around and I’ll just wave as you go by.

LOL. I can totally respect that about your freedom. I don’t think I’d want to give it up if I had it again in the future. Oh sure - I’ll fly around and help you do those errands that you can’t reach or are too afraid to do because of the height. :) As long as I get a mommy sandwich once in a while.

“…- I’d try to get out and live life because you seem to find someone to love when you aren’t looking…”

I was lonely and alone for a long time. then one day I went to the hardware store to buy a bolt for my lawnmower. FabGrandpa was the person who assisted me at the store that day. I wasn’t actually looking for love, but I was open to it. Love does find you when you aren’t looking for it, sometimes.

See? See? I KNEW it! Okay, so it doesn’t happen all the time, but going about your life is better than sitting around, regardless, right? ;) And congrats to you for going to the right person for assistance! :)

  10. Sterling "Chip" Camden (61 comments.) says:

Wow, I’m glad you didn’t tag me for this one. Good answers, though!

You don’t have to be tagged, Chip. You could do it just for fun. I’d love to hear your answers and see if you changed any questions. ;)

  11. Leaf, probably (30 comments.) says:

Eee! Fun! I’m getting right onto it. Also I’m changing a good chunk of the questions to be about cheese, spys, and superheros, because relationships? Ick.

Also when is the last time you read a good meme about cheese right?! They’re hard to come by.

Shannon, you always crack me up. I just know I’m going to enjoy your answers no matter what you do to the questions. LOL. Cheese? Really? ;)

  12. [...] 2008 So. Teeni tagged me to do the Create-A-Question Meme, and boy was I excited! Then I took a good look at the questions, and decided that most of them were stupid, dry, and kind of personal. So I changed the majority [...]

This is a hilarious take on the meme so if you have a chance, please check out Shannon’s response here. I got some good chuckles out of it! :)

  13. Evyl (120 comments.) says:

A dream of flying would be really cool if it came true. So would the recurring dream that I have involving Jessica Alba, a kiddie pool of orange jell-o, four lizards, and a lesbian barbershop quartet.

LOL. I think I will start a little side business making tiny eye masks for the lizards so they won’t be traumatized by what they see. ;)

  14. sheng (57 comments.) says:

Yes, teeni, I will definitely do this meme. I love the questions and I will answer them honestly. hehehe, they look so intentionally revealing. Wait awhile so I can post my answers. Happy day to you!

Great! Thanks for participating and don’t rush - take your time. :) I’d love to see what you come up with.

  15. CuriousC (66 comments.) says:

Oh, did I laugh at your answer to #9! Yes, that would be ‘work’! hee hee.

    Heehee. ;)

  16. Talina (118 comments.) says:

Wow, those are deep questions and answers! Also, I loved your assheroes post especially the part about Angelina. Too funny!

Thanks Talina - I’ve missed you around here but I know you’ve been busy! I’m glad you enjoyed the post. :)

  17. MJ (53 comments.) says:

Fun! I promise to do this sometime this week.

Whenever you can get to it, I’ll be more than happy to read it! :) No pressure. Only fun.

  18. The Poet Laura-eate (87 comments.) says:

I loved your answers too Teeni, and thought them very honest and heartfelt.

I agree with what you said about negativity and have come to realise that there are people in life who (whether they are aware of it or not) seek to hold us back sometimes out of jealousy, or envy or genuine worry that we are overstretching ourselves. Be wary of them and keep my own counsel is what I’ve learned to do. They may mean well or they may not - it’s not always easy to tell, but it’s we who must make our own decisions and find our own limits in life.

Thanks for not tagging me with this one by the way. I don’t think I’d be quite so comfortable doing something so personal myself, even though I realise bloggers are free to modify.

It’s possible to answer some questions without revealing too much, but it is more work and more of a challenge, LOL. ;) Shannon changed a lot of the questions and it turned out extremely humorous so that’s always an option too but I never want to pressure anyone for a meme and take the fun out of it. I like your advice to be wary and keep your own counsel. You are a wise woman. :)

    thats a pretty cool meme

Might you be interested in a game of tag? :)

Yes, indeedy. I love the meme you created and I hope to get it done before the end of the week. I’ll let you know when I get it posted! :)

  21. Michelle Gartner (53 comments.) says:

I read this earlier but didn’t get a chance to comment because Mondays are so crazy. I liked you answers. I felt the same way on a lot of them and it was good of you to do the meme… because for me it would have irritated me. I don’t like hypothetical questions. :0P

Mondays ARE crazy. You are too funny. I would have liked seeing your snarky answers to that one too though. ;)

  22. javaqueen (122 comments.) says:

This is a fun meme- your answers are fantastic Teens! You are always so honest, and sincere. Love it! Cannot wait to see what the others come up with!

Thanks, JavaQueen! Feel free to steal this if you haven’t already done one. :)

Thank YOU so much for participating. This one was fun! :)

  24. Peter Parkour (115 comments.) says:

I see we have some similar answers. Especially the flying dream answer. :D It’s neat to see how the answers have changed in such a short period of time.

I almost didn’t recognize the meme the last couple times I saw it! LOL.

  25. Tish (10 comments.) says:

Great job on your answers, Teeni! :) I hope all is well in your world! This meme looks like a lot of fun. I think I might post it as well!

I’d love to see your answers, Tish! :)
