Participation Prize for Defending My Meez

Yup - it pays to participate at the Tea Room. It was really great to see so many talented people join in to defend my Meez against that rotten Dan’s attack on her. And although Mac won the most votes for his skillful animation of retaliation (and deservedly so, I might add), I still thought all the contestants did a great job and really stepped up to the plate so I wanted to have another prize just for participating in the contest. 
So, I pulled out my giant teapot, entered all the appropriate names (Toast was there to check that I did it fairly and he even tasted the teapot to make sure … well, actually I don’t know why he was licking the teapot except that it may have had a few drops of water left on it from when I rinsed it just before the video), stirred them all up and pulled out the winning name. And I only backed up into the tripod once!
Anyway, watch this little video to see who wins! Please ignore the ugly little troll voice. That’s just me.

Aw, thanks for all the sweet words. But, shhhh - that’s not my real wedding ring. It’s an imposter I have been wearing because my fingers have swollen and I can’t wear the real one. I’m hoping I can fit back into the real one soon because it is lovely.

And I was completely shocked re your voice because I had completely and totally forgotten that you were American. I’m such an idiot sometimes. You seem very British somehow - quirky like we are! But it’s a lovely voice and yeah - great nails!
You’re not an idiot at all! I have this weird thing I call “sympathetic speech” and I tend to pick up the accents or manners of speech of whomever I’m around in a very short time, without even realizing it. I think it happens in my comments at other people’s sites too. I should have learned more foreign languages when I was young because I think I’d have been a good translator. **sigh**

The suspense was ruined by my tardiness, but I still found the video entertaining.
I thought it was really cute how interested Toast was in the whole process. And that didn’t sound like a troll voice to me. Not in the least. 
It’s funny because I did a video like this before on the blog to draw names and then it was my female cat, Jam, who kept trying to get into the teapot. They are funny little furry kids, but I love ‘em.
Thanks about the voice. It’s funny how they sound so different on recordings than they do when we are actually doing the talking.
