Sharing the Wealth - Part 2

Posted By Teeni on November 11, 2008

Remember, not long ago, and right here,
I wanted to share with the blogosphere?

I said it would be comfortably nice
If an online casino were the device

Which would allow me to achieve some gain
To share with others who are in pain?

Well in a way it did come true,
So here is what you have to do.

The contest itself is pretty easy
Just a few words, it should be breezy.

A new tagline is what I need
The current one must now concede.

“Where Life is Filled with Food, Learning and Fun,”
is quite old now and certainly done.

So give me something fresh and new
For what the tea room means to you.

If your words are the ones I pick
You’ll get a prize lickety-split.

Please leave your entries in the comments section
Because my memory is far from perfection.

I’ll pick a winner by end of November,
And fly your tagline till I can’t remember.

Or until that one gets old too,
But it will be fun, so please join the brew!

You’re a rhymin’ fool (in a good way)!!! Very impressive poem. I don’t have anything to enter, will have to think more and reply again later.

I’m a rhymin’ fool? Well, I guess you got the fool part right! LOL. I’ll be interested in seeing what you come up with! :)

shoot, i couldn’t even think of one for myself.

I wondered if it was harder to make up your own so that is why I did the contest. I figured it would be interesting to see what others had to say. :)

  8. kaylee (456 comments.) says:

Hmmm, Ummm, how about where you go when you are drinking tea in the morning? I have no idea. YOu got me lol

    LOL.

I’m going to have to think about this. But as usual it’s a great idea. I like all of them so far especially Peter’s. He’s too funny.

He IS a riot! Gotta love our very own friendly neighborhood Spiderman! :)

  10. joanharvest (44 comments.) says:

Take a break from all your worries,
Have a cup of tea with me!

Okay. Be right there! Oh, was this an entry into the contest? ;)

  11. birdpress (114 comments.) says:

“Still not as good as coffee!”

LOL! That was cute! I like coffee too but coffee places don’t have those awesome little sandwiches that you get at a tea parlour!

  12. birdpress (114 comments.) says:

Just kidding on that last one. ;)

How about: “Where life is filled with milk and honey?”

The last one was funny, but this one is really good! :)

  13. TGH says:

How about: “Be nice or I’ll strip you naked and stick you in a barrel.”

    With Teeni’s Tantalizing Tidbits.

I just love saying the word ‘tidbits.’ It always puts a smile on my face for some odd reason.

LOL. Me too! I suppose we should be more mature.

    NAH! ;)

    Great poem :)

    How about:

    “A teeny bit of Teeni.”

I’ll have to think on this more…

I had to laugh at this because I was trying to work something up along the lines of “Coffee, Tea or Teeni,” when I was trying to come up with one on my own. LOL.

  19. rummuser (64 comments.) says:

Let’s face the music and vagueness!

LOL. I like this one too! :)

  20. Reluctant Blogger (41 comments.) says:

haha I can’t do that. My mind just doesn’t think that way. Anything I came up with would be a tag paragraph. I can’t say anything in less than 200 words.

But i hope you come up with something good.

LOL! You don’t give yourself enough credit! You do it all the time on Twitter! ;) Thanks for the sweet wishes, though, RB! :)
