Wouldn’t it be nice if my infamous winning luck
Could be used to help some poor down-and-out schmuck?
Maybe I could give some back to the blogosphere,
helping some who are in need and passing on good cheer.
Or I suppose that maybe I could get myself a job.
Haha! That’s awfully funny, but I’m now a job-snob!
It’s been far too long since I’ve made my own paycheck,
There’s got to be a better way with now-a-day’s high tech.
And now I’m getting used to my domestic bliss
Except, of course, for cleaning - there I’m a bit remiss.
And cooking, too, well that’s a skill I’m losing fast.
Although you wouldn’t know it because my waist is now so vast.
For luck I don’t rely on the charm of a four-leaf clover
There’s no chance of finding one when I can’t bend myself over!
I honestly don’t mind and I can’t really complain.
It’s gotten so that I’ve given each dust bunny his own name!
The good news is I could be making money right at home,
You know, between reading blogs and the newest tome.
So where will you be able to find me the next time it snows?
I’ll be inside, nice and warm, at the best online casinos!
And if I make any money from this here little endeavor,
I’ll be sharing the love with y’all for being so cute and clever.
