Mixed Bag

Just so you know, my intentions have been really good as far as planning on blogging more. It’s the execution part I’m having trouble with. Ha! But seriously, the truth is I’ve been doing a lot of recuperating from surgeries, which I will tell you more about very soon. In fact, I have a post I’m working on that is basically an entire rant on radiation. But before I subject you all to my venom once again, please do check out my friend, the Diva’s, latest post about our meetup in Boston. There are even pictures (yes, some of ME, and even TGH)!!! We had so much fun with the Diva and learning about the witch trials in Salem. Check it out here.

Pong!
Nice to hear from you again, Teeni!
So nice to see you too, Chip. I have been by your blog a few times but sometimes I don’t comment because I don’t always understand all the programming posts. LOL.
Off to read that post!
Hope you are recovering well, thinking of you lots and sending all my love xx
Hi Hannah! Thank you so much. <3 <3 <3
Well, I hope you’re feeling well. Looks like you all had a great time visiting each other in Boston.
One guy was pressed to death. Blech!
Thanks, Mac! Yeah, can you imagine being pressed to death? I mean really, what did they use a giant wine press? Sheesh. What a way to go. **shivers**
Oh Teeni, hope your recovery is going well. And radiation? I don’t like hte sounds of that at all!
Thinking of you my friend! Godspeed!
Thank you Kami. Lots to tell. But, as always, I’m thankful to be here still. <3 <3 <3
Hope you’re feeling better. Health should always come before blogging.
Didn’t you have curly hair before? I thought the last photo of you that appeared showed you with curly hair. If not, I guess I’ve been imagining you as someone else all this time.
Thanks, dcr! Hmmm - nope never had curly hair although sometimes that is difficult to tell in photos and with short hair. I will admit sometimes I do cheat though and will use a curling iron to achieve a few curls. However, it is funny you asked because a lot of people who have had chemotherapy will tell you that they lost their hair and that when it grew back, it grew in curly. What I suspect is happening is that these people never had really short hair and when the hair was growing back in, it may have seemed curlier simply because it did not have the length to weigh it down. So did you also picture me tall? Cause if you did, that was definitely someone else. LOL!
I’ve been wondering what you’ve been up to. Glad to see you back, and I’m looking forward to your next post so I can get the full scoop. Until then I guess I’ll go check out that post at the Diva’s place.
Good to see you too! I’m still working on the post - trying to organize my thoughts and actually use good English and stuff while I’m at it - probably why it’s taking me so long but I figured my readers deserve only the best.
Hey. What’s up with the arm and the sling and thing and stuff??? I hope your arm is ok.
Great pics. The last one was reminiscent of a Peter and Bunny moment. Loved it.
I’ve never been and would love to go. I’m sure they are saying something similar, “I’ve never been to Arizona (or where ever) and would love to go”.
I want to meet some Canadian bloggers, but I want to meet them in Canada.
Meeting bloggin’ buds period sounds pretty cool. Lucky you, Teeni.
Ah, the sling - that has to do with my surgeries which is the next post I’m working on. And yes, I am a very lucky person in very many ways. I try not to take that for granted every day.
I guess you could take turns visiting each other so you each get a vacation in a new place.
No, I don’t think it was a tall person. I thought it was you, but it’s been so long I don’t know for sure anymore.
But, it was the reason I made the cartoon you with curly hair way back in the Avatar Wars post.
Oh, LOL!
Well, it all makes sense now (okay, well most of it, heehee).
Hey Teeni!! Looks like you had a ton of fun. I have been out of things for the last year getting settled after the move and everything. Hoping to reopen my blog soon. Glad you are doing well. I have missed you!

Well, hey there! I thought I had lost you!
I’m so glad to see you back commenting on my blog!!! You let me know as soon as you open up shop again and in the meantime, never be a stranger! Hugs to you!
Nope, didn’t lose me
I’m up and running, so come on by!!!
Done!
Well done you! It’s so rewarding meeting fellow blogmates whenever possible.
Sadly not so common in England as people tend to find excuses why it might be unwise to meet. However I did meet Steerforth from Age of Uncertainty a couple of months ago and he was just as wonderful in real life as his blog suggested.
Good luck with your recuperating. We shall look forward to hearing about your latest adventures. Lxx
Hi Poet! It really is fun to meet fellow bloggers. I suppose I can understand how one might think it not so wise but I think there are certain people you feel a closer connection to as well, and those are wonderful people to meet. A blogging convention sounds like it might be fun too but I’m not sure I’d ever get to one.
Hi Teeni,
Hope you are doing well. I haven’t read your friends blog post yet…I just wanted to say hello! I finally finished all of my brother and soon to be sister in laws wedding invitations last Saturday. Now I’m getting ready for a craft sale….much more at ease since I got the invitations done. Gonna go read that post now…Happy Independence Day too!
Melanie
Hi Melanie! I know you have been so busy these days that you are putting me to shame. I hope your craft sale goes well. I’ll be by to visit your blog soon. Stay cool! (It’s 98 degrees here today - yikes!)
TEENI!!!!
It is so nice to see that you are still blogging when you can…
YIKES about the radiation….
did I ever tell you that my Mom(who was a radiologist) had to go through the ordeals of breast cancer when she was 87???
She survived(had tons of radiation, which seemed unfairly ironic) and is STILL going strong at 96! So inspiration for us all…
Take care and huge hugs to you…
Hope that you are feeling better and better all the time…
PS I visited the Diva’s blog and was delighted to read about her trip to see you and TGH…VERY nice to finally see photos of you too!
So good to see you! I did NOT know about your mother’s history with breast cancer and radiation but am so glad to hear she is still doing well. It seems I hear a lot of the “other” stories so I’m always glad to hear about someone who is doing well.
Hi Merri!
Thanks for visiting my friend’s post - she is a sweetie. And now you can recognize me if we ever cross paths! That would be fun and we would definitely have some tea together!
Ive been struggling with blogging these days too. Hope you are recovering well!
Thanks, Meleah! I keep meaning to get over here and do an update. I guess I will get to it eventually. Sigh. Okay, I’ll stop whining now.
I can’t believe you got to meet all your blogger hussies. That sounds A-MAY!
Meeting bloggers is awesome!!!! I’m sure you will get to meet some someday!!
Now, that is just damn cool. I’m so glad you got to meet her in person. I’ve got to meet a few bloggers in the past two years, but I wish I could meet more. I was thrilled to have met PamaJama just two months ago.
FYI, I think Wordpress has a new function called phone in or call in your blog. You can dictate, which would save you the trouble of typing!
Oh, that is a neat function - I need to check it out! Yay - you got to meet Pamajama???!!! That is awesome!! Did you blog about it? Did I miss it? I’ve got to get over to your blog and check things out!!!!
Been thinking of you and waiting to hear you take on all that you’ve been though. Very cool that you got to do a meet-up. Hugs to you and I feel your pain on the “good intentions but not enough follow through” with the blog. I am losing my mojo too.
Hey Talina!!! So good to see you over here! I want my blog mojo back!!!! Also, I can’t decide if I want to do a password protected post or just an open post about my health stuff. I better make up my mind quick before nobody even bothers coming by here any more!!!
