Not Quite Appropriate Dinner Conversation
Posted By Teeni on November 6, 2010
While we don’t ALWAYS get dessert after dinner when we eat out, when we DO indulge, TGH’s and my sweets of choice are a bit different. I love chocolate but would much rather have something that is harder for me to make at home. So I usually opt for the tiramisu if it is available, and TGH will opt for the chocolate mousse. So here is how the conversation went down when we last indulged in our after dinner sweets:
Teeni on taking her first bite of tiramisu: Mmmmmm - nothing beats tiramisu.
TGH on taking his first bite of chocolate mousse: Tiramisu just doesn’t bring on that tsunami of saliva in your mouth that chocolate mousse does.
Teeni: “TSUNAMI OF SALIVA!!!!?” Hahahahahahahaha. I can’t believe you just said that. Snort.
Note: Originally, I wanted to present this conversation as a cartoon like I have done in the past. But apparently there was no Meez action that looked anything like someone choking in surprise and almost snorting their tiramisu all over the table. So The Little Hussy gets to rest and you’ll just have to use your imaginations. But seriously, try saying “tsunami of saliva” a few times. It’s kind of fun. Nyuck!
Note 2: So much for improving the quality of my posts.

That IS funny!
Portions are so huge at most eateries that we seldom get dessert. We keep saying we need to stop once in a while just for the dessert, but have actually only done that a couple of times.
See? Great minds think alike!!! I love that idea and we have thought to do that a couple of times too! We just need to act on it more - haha!
I’m imagining tiny “evacuation route” signs all along the inside of the lower gums.
Ppppppppttttttttthhhhh! Bwahhahahaha! Good thing I didn’t have anything in my mouth THAT time! Heehee!
Tsunami of saliva is the perfect way to describe chocolate! I love it!
That was a quality post Teeni, atta girl!
LOL - glad you liked it, Kami. Wow. I’ve missed this place and it is good to be back among friends.
<3
tiramisu ??? moose ????
I am soooo confused! (( crying ))
Ok, I am done crying now, but must admit it felt good … It has been years. Plan for today: “Get some tiramisu”
Big hugs & smoootch on cheek from old Speedy
Sorry to make you cry, Speedy. You KNOW I would most certainly have shared with you if I could. I looooooove tiramisu. I think it is the mascarpone cheese. Mmmmm. This is why I could never be totally vegan. sigh.
Did that work? Comment moderation? Dessert desert moderation??
((( crying again )))
Nuts. When I deleted all my pages, it deleted many comments so it seems to think you are new here and it is doing that to many of my regular readers so don’t feel bad. You will always be in my top favorite bloggers!
AhahahahahHAHHAHhahhahaha
“tsunami of saliva”
Ahahahhahahaha! Classic!
Leave it to my husband to coin such a strange term! LOL
Hahaha!! Tsunami of saliva doesn’t really sound all that great - do I WANT one of those?! I’m glad TGH really enjoyed his dessert though
Haha! This comment cracked me up - do I really WANT that??!! Still laughing…
HA! Tsunami of Saliva??
I’d have to side with TGH, i’d go for the mousse over the tiramisu
Normally, I’d side with you and TGH because I do love chocolate mousse. But I can make that myself at home way easier than tiramisu so that is why I skip the tsunami of saliva. LOL!
And here I was hoping the new beginning would spell the end of the Meez.
Oh, that made me laugh too! Sorry, dcr. Unless I find a better way to animate some of my emotions on here, she is probably gonna be sticking around. She’s also handy because I can use her as an alter-ego and let her take the heat. I definitely have a love-hate relationship with my Meez. LOL.
That is totally appropriate meal conversation! Our topics are much worse and you know.
Missed you and don’t care about the quality of posts. I like the blog the way it is, personal and friendshippy!
Aw, Talina - it’s so good to see you. I hope you are well. You don’t know how many times I’ve thought of you while I was away from blogging. Thanks so much for your kind words and just for being you! <3
lmao!! That’s as good as seeing one of my friend’s relationship styles being described as a tidal wave of love! lol
LOL! Oooh - good one. I guess I can see them “drowning” in each other’s eyes!
